"Kirishima. Let's spar." Katsuki declared.
They had arrived at the limit of the silver kingdom and had decided to encamp there. Only the forest was separating them from the enemy. They would attack first thing in the morning but, right now, Katsuki wanted to fight someone. The alpha always had too much energy before an attack so he usually would spar with Kirishima or whoever was in the mood to get his ass beaten. It was a good warm-up for tomorrow.
Kirishima grinned as he looked at Katsuki. "Sure, let's do it." He said as he reached for his sword. The redhead never refused a challenge.
They moved to the middle of the encampment as soldiers started to gather around them, nobody wanting to miss the show. Izuku decided to watch too. Apart from the one time Katsuki had fought against Todoroki, the omega had never seen the Crimson King in action. It made him curious.
Katsuki and Kirishima started to slowly circle each other, both waiting for the right moment to attack. Suddenly, Katsuki lunged at Kirishima and their swords violently clashed together. They began to fight, their movements incredibly fast and precise. They either dodged or blocked each other's hits, neither of them wavering against the other.
Izuku was impressed but he could still follow their movements. He took notes of any habits or weaknesses he noticed in their combat style, thinking it could always be useful. Katsuki seemed more powerful than Kirishima but the redhead wasn't bad at all. He could hold his ground against Katsuki. After all, he wasn't the King's right hand for nothing.
Katsuki suddenly disarmed Kirishima in one swift movement before pointing his sword right at his general's neck. He grinned, a smug smirk taking over his features. "Not bad. Maybe one day you'll at least manage to wound me." He playfully said.
Kirishima chuckled in response. He was used to always lose against Katsuki so he didn't mind. It still was good training to improve his fighting skills. "Yeah, maybe one day." He laughed as he picked back his sword and fastened it at his side.
Katsuki then looked around at the soldiers surrounding them. "Anyone else?" He asked loud and clear, his blood still pulsing for some action and violence. "Come on, I won't kill you." He added with a smirk as no one stepped forward to fight him.
It was expected. Except for his generals, everyone was scared of the Crimson King. They knew they didn't even stand a chance against him. The only thing they would win would be to get their ass beaten and to be humiliated.
Katsuki thought nobody would try to fight him as always when, suddenly, someone spoke out.
"I want to try." Izuku said.
To say Katsuki was surprised was an understatement. Izuku certainly was the last person he was expecting to hear speak out. But he nonetheless smirked as the omega approached him, excitement starting to run through his veins.
Izuku never failed to surprise him.
"You?" He asked, amusement slipping through his voice. Izuku nodded. "Yes. Me." The prince firmly answered. He didn't seem one bit scared of the challenge
Katsuki grinned. "Momo, give him your sword." He ordered and Yaoyorozu quickly obeyed. She gave her sword to Izuku and, while everyone expected to see the tiny omega struggle to hold the heavy weapon, Izuku didn't. He firmly gripped the sword and got into a perfect fighting stance, further arousing Katsuki's interest.
"So, you can fight?" The King asked.
"I can do anything." Izuku answered.
Since he was a prince, of course he had learned how to fight. He needed to know how to defend himself. However, as an omega, people only needed to use their pheromones to put him into submission and defeat him. Izuku was defenceless against alphas.
