Ravenous!!

Wait! What!,I exclaimed,we have to wait till ten,she giggled and answered yeah, but there's a mini mart , you can rush to get snacks if you want to, but I wouldn't do that if I were you, why? I asked, because the boys come to school late and I don't think you'd be willing to walk alone cause they come in groups.
Oh was all I could say. Thanks then,I figured I couldn't die from hunger ,but i know i came real close that day.
I didn't think i was much of a beauty because I wasn't fair in complexion, all my life I figured because of how dark I was,i wasn't that much to look at,but one thing i did love about my body was my hair,i had a thick full curly crown that made me feel like a goddess. I was glad i wasn't made to cut it cause i heard they did that in other schools,I asked Sharon about the braiding situation, and she said I had to ask someone who could braid to help me out, I asked hopefully whether she could, she said yes but I'm definitely lazy to braid,she replied absent mindedly, but will you braid me ,she sighed and said you're a smart one,I will help you out but i won't become your personal braider or anything.
Sharon was a very unique,interesting person, she kept on making jokes that almost had me floored,I was telling her about my holiday when the boys started to come in.
They came in groups, some two,others three or more and there were the occasional loners that walked alone.
Why are they coming now I asked, they hang out around the hostel doing God knows what and they only come when the bell for morning devotion rings.
Ohh so there's another devotion, she laughed and said when you heard Bethel high, didn't you figure it was an extension of a church, I laughed and said yes, I just didn't think it'd be this much, while we were talking, somebody came and smacked Sharon on her head. I thought she'd be enraged by it, but she smiled and said John you little goblin, did you hit me cause now you have to look up to me,I laughed my hardest cause he was a little creature,he wasn't a dwarf he was just super little,he laughed and said I know you missed me, they hugged and that was how I met John. Her best friend.
They were an unlikely pair, him with his stature and her with her low cut, they teased eachother and made jabs at eachother, until they remembered me.
I was quite content to watch them until he said "so who is this African queen?".
Sharon hissed and said we knew you were cheesy but come on that's just plain awful. She's the one trying to steal me away John.watch out you'll soon be left best friendless , but you can bribe me, and maybe,just maybe I'll consider staying with you,I laughed and took his side , maybe I'll just steal John instead, she acted shocked with her hands on her chest but she smiled and said John will never leave me,he needs me!
I don't need you, you need me and they went on and on till the most unlikely pair of boys entered. One was fat,with a face that looked like it didn't fit well,the other was tall and huge with broad shoulders and a wide smile, and the last was tall too,skinny with a bored look on his face and bald.
