Ewwwww why do you have to be so crass , why did you call me in the first place I asked, oh baldy over there is my best friend and he was coming to meet somebody so I didn't want to stay in the hostel alone, oh I said as I looked just in time to see baldy roll his eyes.
Couldn't you call your sister I asked, or somebody you've known for more than one day, he laughed, am I that repulsive, you're already planning an escape, no I said, I was just wondering, I waved at Baldy and he nodded, So you call him Baldy too I asked, wait too?
I thought I was the only guy you'd spoken too, he asked too dramatically ,I was already feeling special but look what you've done, I waved my hands hysterically as I tried to explain that he said hi first, did you expect me to ignore him, I heard him giggle as I realised he was joking, Oh thank God, you know I don't know you too well, I don't want to step on toes, he smiled a little bit, a side smile that made him seem like he was hiding something, he looked like one of the unnecessarily over cool characters in one of the many anime I watched. So I heard about your boys hostel debacle, that immediately put an end to my day dreaming, and I felt the heat come up again, he laughed don't be embarrassed he said,I like women that love seeing their men and he winked.

I said a little bit too loudly,I thought you were all nerd with nerdy stuff and all, but look at you giving pervy vibes, he giggled and said I also thought you'd decline my invite or even come here and be totally shy, look at us he said, we're peas in a pod, doing the unexpected. I sighed in defeat and said yeah we are.
Our conversation took a different turn as he asked about my family, my other school, why I had to leave and whether I was enjoying Bethel so far.
I'm the eldest of 3, I have a younger sister and a younger brother, my sisters a complete douche but I absolutely adore her, she's the funniest in the family and I went on and on about how my siblings were, I realized I missed them a lot, then I told him I was a day student and it was great but my parents wanted me to experience boarding school, I was surprised he didn't interrupt me, he just laughed when I told him of my siblings antics and when I was done he told me about his family, they were six children, with two sets of twins, he was technically the fourth since he came out first and they were four boys and two girls, and the other twins ahead of him were identical, so when I came with Jasmine my parents weren't even as excited, we were second hand,I laughed at his joke and we kept on talking till I felt Dera tap me and say we had to go back to the hostel cause it was late, I told her thanks and I was about to say my goodbyes,I didn't know whether to hug or shake him, my brain said shake, my body said hug, so it eventually came out as a weird mixture of a hug and a shake, he giggled and shook my hand, I cleared my throat and said goodnight to him, and he shook Chidera too and told her goodnight too.
As we walked to the hostel, chidera kept on laughing at me about my weird moment, I just smiled as my brain kept on reminding me that she was joking and there was no harm intended.
When we reached the hostel I went to see Sharon on her bed and I told her what happened, I noticed she had sorted out her books and she was getting ready for tomorrow, wouldn't want to pack everything on my bed again she said and laughed, I decided to do the same when I high back to my bed. She told me today was our only free day, that school would start in earnest the next day and I should be ready, she also said that the prefect that was supposed to be in our hostel had finally resumed so we wouldn't have much freedom again, that's scary I said and as i said that, one prefect entered and shouted,Who is Jessica Adams?
