The Doctor:

"Turn it off." Elizabeth informed the Ponds, walking into the console room, wearing a red camisole thing and high waisted black trousers. A lot of skin today, which was weird, she was even wearing open top black heels. "I told you what would happen if you played Muse again, and I swear to the Gods if you miss that dart board and break the floor, I'm dumping you in a real 'super massive black hole.'"

They both turned it off, knowing she was probably serious, as Divvy purred in her shadow. Divvy was a spy, she had to be, I didn't trust her. "What's with the fancy get up, Sissy? Are you meeting up with Martha?" Or perhaps a certain lady I'd seen you kissing from the monitor. She deserved someone, and she clearly had feelings for the alluring, secretive Doctor River Song.

"I have plans." Yes, but what? "Who wants fish and chips?" Of course Rory put his hand up. "I'm dropping you off, I need the TARDIS to myself a while, and you need to restock the pantry, Wild Cat."

Wasn't just her, we may or may not have actually eaten some sweets Jack left last time, and we ate a rather large chunk of the TARDIS food supply. But, I wanted to know what she was doing. "Er, and you?" Rory questioned, getting my expression.

"Things. I do things, you know, I can't just Wander everywhere, sometimes you need physical hands."

Amy also agreed. "Well, we'll stay with you. We'll do the other things."

"This is a child free errand. I'm leaving Divinity also."

"Whatever you're up to, I'd personally like to be a part of it, Sissy." I informed her, avoiding her vicious Maine Coone. "So, what-"

A klaxon then sounded, all of us getting thrown around. "Solar tsunami. Came directly from your sun. A tidal wave of radiation. Why is always fire and radiation?"

Rory was getting roller coaster vibes. "Oh, Doctor, Bethy, my tummy's going funny."

"The gyrators disconnected, and target tracking is out." Divvy now legged it to the Panic Bunker, which I'd discovered was basically a self sustaining void ship, as I realised it was going to be a bumpy landing. "Assume the position!"

The Ponds put their heads between knees, the two of us holding the console before we slammed to a stop hopefully not on something or someone. "I hate emergency landings."

Before she could stop us, we all ran out, so we saw some sort of monastery. "Behold, a cockerel." I beamed as she followed not happy as she snapped her staff together. "Love a cockerel, what about you, Sissy?"

"I prefer the monastery, where I'm going to possibly have you castrated into a Eunuch." Rude. "Thirteenth century, a good strong build, it's lasted centuries."

"Oh, we've gone all mediaeval."

Rory and LizBeth shook their heads. "I'm not sure about that. We can hear Dusty Springfield."

"Agreed. You Don't Have To Say You Love Me." Lizzy nodded, crouching carefully to look at a hole in the ground that had a pipe labelled corrosive. "These fissures are new. The solar tsunami sent out a huge wave of gamma particles. This caused a magnetic quake that occurs just before the wave hits. There are now possibly several Hulks out there, if Marvel is to be believed."

Amy looked at the huge stone structure. "Well, the monastery's standing."

"For now." We went to question Elizabeth, but she gestured to the thing she was fascinated by. "It's a supply pipe. Ceramic inner lining. Something corrosive. They're pumping something nasty off this island to the mainland."

"My Mum's a massive fan of Dusty Springfield."

I beamed at Rory. "Who isn't? Right, let's go. Satisfy our rabid curiosity." There was a swear in Ancient Egyptian, one of Beth's favourite's that didn't universally translate as it was a mishmash of too many alien tongues. "Problem, Sissy?"
