Chapter 14

Gonna Set Your Flag On Fire

Arabelle pov

"Morning!" 

Hayley and Hope enter the kitchen where I'm making breakfast with Livianna. Hayley leans closer to me, we look as though we're about to kiss, but i just kisses Hope's head. "Do you want tea or coffee?" i asked Hayley. 

"Coffee, please." 

I place our breakfast down at a table, but this little Mikaelson is fussing and whining. I stretch my hands out to her, "how about you eat first and we will take mini-Niklaus around the house?" Livianna asked, smiling at Hope. "You sure?" i nod, i stand up as she passed her daughter to me. "I believe we three are having a little date, little one," I coo at her.

We both at the porch, swing Hope around and make her in like a 'Superman flying' pose when we heard a car engine coming toward us. "Come on! There's someone I want you to meet," i heard Nik's voice. I heard a door being open and found Hayley nodding her head at me, "I'd like to introduce you to the newest member of our family. The little troublemaker all the fuss has been about." I give Hope back to Hayley. 

"Camille, this is Hope." 

Camille is absolutely stunned, and looks at Nik and Hayley in confusion. "Oh, my God. What? You said... I thought she was..." She said, shocked to see the baby who was supposed to be dead. "The only way to truly protect her was to convince the world of her death," i speak out while Nik staring at her. Hayley smiles kindly, but Nik seems awkward as he turns to Camille. "I hope you understand, once it is safe for you to leave here, this secret cannot leave with you." Camille clearly happy at this revelation nods in understanding and smiles at her with tears in her eyes before she walks past him to see Hope for herself.

Hope grabs her finger and coos at her, and both Cami and Hayley giggle, "Oh, she's perfect!" I grin at the former bartender, "she's more than perfect. Come on, let's talk inside." 

Inside the house, all of us are brainstorming our next move, "now that we've entombed our mother, I intend to finish making the city safe for Hope. Which, to start means dealing with the lingering problem of Finn." Nik starts to speak out. "Oh, once he figures out what you've done to mother, he's gonna go off the deep end." 

Little Finn has a tendency of relying on mumzy and when he has no one he becomes, he becomes predictable.
