"Will you quit slapping me?!" Declan Nash exclaimed, angrily. "You're lucky you're not getting one from me," Ethan replied. "It was incredibly stupid on your part to mess with our patients in the first place." "Uh, guys... Can we discuss this after we save the world from being eaten alive?" Jackie interrupted. "Wait a second!" Ethan exclaimed, realizing something. "Edenbrook isn't the first place the Zombie curse began!" "What do you mean?" Sienna asked. "Back in New Orleans, the Psychiatric patients were behaving the same way our patients are!" Ethan explained. "Do you remember Dominique told us someone threw a shoe at him?" "You also said someone threw a shoe in the cafeteria," Jackie recalled. "Which means Declan Nash killing off our patients wasn't the cause of the zombie curse it was just a convenient alibi. It was planned all along!" I exclaimed.
"Oh no, but that means most of New Orleans is probably Zombie Land by now." Elijah pointed out. "We're not going to have enough cure for them." "Wait, a moment... Isn't that the lady I helped save her purse?" I asked, discovering a lady sneak past the crowd of zombies. "Back in Egypt, Bastet told us someone was waiting for you to make a move. My bet is on her." Ethan responded. "So, she staged the robbery because she knew I was The Keeper of the Bullet all along?" I asked. "Because her accomplice or partner in crime was the sorcerer," Aurora suggested. "He kept you busy so that she could zombify the world. An asylum was a convenient way to disguise their plot, no one would suspect something was off." "Why didn't anyone turn blue?" Elijah asked. "The rest of the symptoms for the New Orleans patients were delayed so that we wouldn't dig further into the research until it was too late," Sienna replied. "Wow, and here I was so worried about tourist traps!" Cleopatra exclaimed. "This puts things in a whole new perspective. There are worse problems in the world. I'll take care of New Orleans, you just focus on your home." "Yes, and with my help, we should be able to strengthen our power." King Tut agreed. The two of them disappeared so that they can reverse the curse of New Orleans. "They could do that? Then why did we have to spend the extra time creating a cure?" Jackie asked. "We can't always take shortcuts," I answered, taking out a syringe and filling it with the mixture I've made in the lab. "We're still doctors." "It's good to know that all the mystic wonder hasn't changed your view on patient care." Ethan smiled at me. "Heh, I'm glad that I hadn't forgotten how to use a syringe by now. It just feels good to be back." I responded, injecting the zombie patients one by one. "I'll go and make sure that so-called helpless, mugging victim doesn't escape our watchful eye." Ethan hurried off after her.
"Wait! Be careful, Dr. Ramsey!" Sienna exclaimed, "It might be a trap! You could get Zombified!" "I actually think he could take her; if he turns into a zombie... The witch will suffer The Ramsey Wrath," Elijah smiled. "Christy, do you need extra syringes to stab your zombies with?" "I wouldn't say no to backup." I smiled back. "Here you are." Jackie pulled out the syringes and passed them to Elijah, Sienna, and Aurora. "You just happened to have them on you?" Elijah asked. "If you don't keep syringes on you during a zombie catastrophe then you can say goodbye to your brain," Jackie answered, throwing hers up in the air with a spin and stuck it into a zombie behind her as soon as she caught it. "Showing off much?" Elijah asked. "Bryce said it himself that if you got it you flaunt it," Jackie replied, stabbing another zombie with the syringe. "Did you just quote, Bryce? Aww, you two are officially best buds." I teased her. "Don't make a big deal out of it. The scalpel jockey isn't completely useless, I suppose." Jackie responded. "Elijah! Watch out!" Phoebe called out to him, pushing him out of the way as one of the zombies had been sneaking upon him. "Phoebe? What are you doing here?" Elijah asked. "That's not important!" Phoebe exclaimed. "Wait... What happened to your wheelchair?" "Oh, I've been cured!" Elijah answered, "The wheelchair and I had a good run. The explanation is rather complicated." "More complicated than a hospital full of zombies?" Phoebe asked. "You don't know the half of it," Elijah replied. "Less talking, more injecting!" Jackie exclaimed, setting the syringe into the zombie that almost caught Elijah.
