"Dad ako na oorder ah" masayang sabi ni Claire sabay punta nito sa counter. Nandito kami sa malapit na past food.
"You're a Humss Student, like my daughter?" Panimula niya. Tumango ako.
Hindi ko alam pero payapa ang pakiramdam ko ngayong kasama mo siya. Siguro dahil nasa aura nito ang pagiging kalmado. Typical na siguro 'yon sa mga lawyer o judge na tulad niya.
"So, what's on your mind and why you chose me to be the main topic of your article?"
I cleared my throat "One of my best friend's friend recommended you, when she found out that I will write an article about Judge"
Tumango tango siya "I thought it's your own will"
"It is" lumingon siya saakin. "I wouldn't write the article if I don't want, I just found an interest about your life, that's it"
"Thank you, then" nilabas niya ang dyaryo ng school namin. "My daughter is news writer too in her school, but she didn't think to write an article about me. But, I understand her about it"
"She already mentioned it, and I gues I'm out of it. it's your personal matter" seryosong sagot ko, kaya natawa siya.
"You're too formal"
"Knowing that, a honorable judge of honorable Supreme Court of the Philippines is in front of me" mas lalo siyang natawa sa sinagot ko.
"Look around, they not even recognize me"
"Because I guess its their choice not to recognize you"
Ngumiti siya "You made me admire you"
"Thanks, judge"
Nang dumating ang pagkain, dumadaldal labg si Claire ng dumadaldal. Kinekwento niya ang saya sa Faina kesa sa school nila. Mas maganda raw ang events sa school namin.
"I heard, may pa battle of the band and spoken poetry events kayo"
Tumango ako "Yeah, but it's held 2 nights before the closing of our strand week"
"Can I come?"
"Claire" sita ng daddy niya.
"Please, dad. I want to come" paalam niya sa ama niya.
Nakatingin lang ako sa dalawa habang nagpapaalam si Claire sa daddy niya, I can't imagine myself asking permission to my dad if can I go out or go in every concerts I want to attend to.
"Ask your mom, about it"
"I will ask our SSC President if you can come" sagot ko. Nakangiti naman itong tumango saakin saka nagpatuloy sa pagkain.
It's past 8pm, when we decided to go home.
"Ihahatid ka nanamin" presinta ni Claire. Umiling ako rito.
"Hindi na, mag jejeep na lang ako malapit lang naman" sagot ko.
"I insist" sagot ng daddy niya kaya naman wala na akong nagawa kundi pumasok sa passenger seat.
Tahimik lang kaming nasa loob ng sasakyan, nadaanan namin ang Faina. May mga estudyante paring nagsisilabasan, siguro naman hindi ako pagagalitan ni kuya.
