I turned to the spot the sound originated. The window was open, and sitting on the sill, was the guy with the blue mask.

I just stood there staring at him. I could see him more clearly now. He had on a black hoodie, jeans, converse, and the blue mask with the black stuff dripping from the empty eye holes.

“Hey, I asked if you were gonna waste food like that?” he said again.

He jumped off the sill and into my room. He pulled out a scalpel from his pocket. I instinctively grabbed the knife off the floor.

“Oh, cute, little killer has a knife,” he said sarcastically.

He advanced and I backed up. I held the knife with both hands. He had a scalpel, I could take him….

A scalpel…..and a mask………….Jack! Maybe if I freaked the guy out he would leave.

“Hey Jack, how many people you kill today?” I said with a smirk.

He stopped advancing on me. I got him. I actually got him!

“Hold on, don’t move,” he said.

He walked over to the dead body. He bent down next to it and sliced it open. He dug around for a second, then pulled out something. A kidney.

“Aw man, you got the other with the knife, what a waste,” he said. He lifted his mask up a little. He lifted the kidney up to his mouth, and bit a piece off of it. His teeth were sharp, really sharp. Blood dripped down his chin. He wiped his mouth on his sleeve and put his mask down.

“Your turn,” he said.

I raised the knife. He came at me, he tried to get to my innards, but I stopped him with the knife. I kicked him in the stomach and he stepped back.

“You know how I fight?” he questioned.

“Um…….. I know you’re going for my kidneys. Does that count?” I ask.

“Sure it counts. But I’m still gonna kill you.”

Jack lunged for me again, but I swerved out of the way. He came around and swung at me, I backed up. I jabbed at him, he moved. I drop kicked him, it worked. He fell flat on his back. Before he could get up I had the knife pointed at his throat.

“I win, asshole.” I went to slit his throat, when he kicked my leg, I fell to one knee, he slid back, jumped up, and had the scalpel to my throat.

“I win, cutie,” Jack said, he had on a mask, but I just knew he was laughing. He cut, not my neck, but my side. A thin line of blood bubbled up from the cut. He cut deeper than I thought he would, it hurt, a lot, but I didn’t show the pain on my face.

Jack pulled something out of the cut. My own kidney. He lifted up his mask just enough and ate my kidney.

“Sweet, that’s how your taste,” Jack smiled.

I had enough, “Don’t call me cutie!”

I kicked him and punched him until he let me up. I reached for the knife, but it wasn’t there. I looked around frantically. I saw it by his dead body. I lunged forward for it. I got to it safely, but when I looked up, Jack was above me, scalpel ready to stab me. But he didn’t.

“Your different. You knew how to protect yourself, to fight me. Ya got that guy pretty good, didn’t you?”

“He was an abusive father. Nothing more. Just kill me already.”

“Why would I kill you, cutie?”

“Don’t call me cute, asshole.” I snarled. He held out his hand. I hit it away. I got up on my own. I looked at Jack. He was covered in blood, some fresh, some dried and older.

“Just drop the knife already, I’m not killing you,” Jack said.

“Drop the scalpel, if you’re not killing me.”

He set the scalpel on the bed. I dropped the knife on the bed. We stood there for a while, just staring at each other.

“Name?” Jack asked.

“(Y/N), your Eyeless Jack.”

“How’d you know?”

“I read creepypasta.”

“Oh, usually I avoid those kinds of people,” Jack mumbled. We sat there for another few minutes, just staring at each other.

“So, what do we do? I murdered my dad, and you’re gonna do who knows what to me,” I said.

“Why don’t we take care of the cop issue and you come with me?” Jack asked.

I shrugged, “I don’t really have a choice, do I?”

“Nope.”

“………Ah, what the hell, sure.”
