Kay Klaus ang una kong binuksan dahil hindi pa ako sigurado kung good o bad news ba ang i-chi-nat niya sa akin. Kay Vico kasi parang may kutob na ako na positive stuff itong chat niya.

Tulog pa si Ate kaya mag-isa akong lumabas ng kuwarto para mag-agahan. Walang ibang tao doon maliban kay Maeve na kumakain din ng agahan niya. Binigyan ko siya ng ngiti nang magtama ang mga mata namin.

Hindi niya ako sinagot at nagpatuloy lang sa pagkain. Kumuha ako ng gatas mula sa refrigerator at cereals sa cabinet. Pagkatapos ay umupo na ako sa harap niya at nagsimula ng kumain.

"Do you have friends at your school?" I opened a topic. Ang awkward kasi kung magpinsan kami pero hindi kami mag-uusap.

"A lot." Tipid niyang sagot. I nodded while smiling at her answer. "How about you?" she suddenly asked back.

My eyes dilated in shock at her. I'm glad she asked me back. It's like giving me a sign that she wants to know about me also.

"I have. But only one." Nginitian ko siya.

"Aww, poor you." She burst out of laughter. "Who would be interested to befriend of yours in your school when they knew that you've got nothing in life except your uneducated deliveryman father." She tried to stifle her laugh.
