HAILEY'S P.O.V

You know you're a stranger when people around you glare awkwardly at you.  That's what happening in Orlando during my day one.  We just spent the first 24 hours in here.  And it's dang hot, I tell you.  I'm torn every second all day due to the perfect outfit to wear.  Not to mention my Mom forced me to go outside to meet the Orlando breeze.  I didn't even think there's such thing like that.

"I'm going outside!"  I yelled to Mom because she's in the bathroom.

"I'll be in the spa all day long!"  She answered.

"Oh, that's why."  I rolled my eyes.  "Okay!"

I went down to the lobby by elevator and soon met the bright sunny day.  Mom really wants me to adjust myself, and my pale skin, to the beach life so she chose this hotel which literally has this best beach view.  Can you imagine how many people spend their time at the beach in weekend?  That's pretty much how it is today.

"Excuse me, I want a Raspberry Truffle Mocca please."  I spoke to the Starbucks barista here at the beach.

"Okay.  Anything else?"  This beautiful girl replied.

"No, that's all."  I gave some money.  "Thank you."

"Here you go."  She gave me the receipt so I just have to wait for my coffee.

I sit by the corner of this glass wall store as well as staring outside.  I tried to study those all people and their habit, because start today, I'm becoming one of them.  Actually, to be honest, there's nothing wrong about this sunny city.  I once went to Miami with Mom when I was younger - yeah it's still Florida anyway - and I loved it.  So Mom's right.  I have no reason to keep hold onto that New York memory inside my head while I'm here because it doesn't work that way.

"Hey!"  A girl suddenly yelled at me.  She's with her bikini stuff.  "Use your freaking eyes!  I got coffee all over my body!

"You use your eyes!  You bump into me!  You spill my coffee!"  I yelled back.

"It's your fault!  Don't mess up with me!"  She walked closer to me to confront.

"You bump into me.  I didn't do anything until 5 seconds ago when you sassily walked in and spill my coffee!"  I answered.

"Oh you want to play this thing?"  This random girl just pulled my hair so hard.  I felt everything around me was spinning around.

"Let me go!"  I screamed the top of my lung.

"Hey, hey!  Take your hand off! Let her go."  Suddenly a male voice came up from behiind me and held this girl's hand while she's trying to slap me.  "I said let her go."

"What do you care?"  She spoke to this guy.  I can't even turn around because wow, she pulled my hair with a full power.

"Mind your own business!  Go!  I don't want to see you around."  He argued this rude girl.

"You watch out yourself!  Just because this sweet guy saved you, doesn't mean we're done here."  She threatened me with that look, then walked away.

"Oh gosh..."  I sighed.  I looked at my shirt.  She spilled half of my coffee.

"Are you okay?"  The guy immediately walked closer and checked on me.

"Yeah.  Thank you."  I looked up.  Hang on.  Is he...  No, he can't be.  "You don't have to, but thank you."

"I can't stand over those rude people like her.  I saw it, it's her fault."  He smiled.  "You seriously okay?"

"Yeah yeah, don't mind me.  It's fine."  I nodded.  "Thank you again."

"You're welcome."

And that's it.  He walked away.  I didn't really remember what he looks like, the real profile, but he's a very tall guy and he definitely wore a hat.  That's why he reminds me of that profile, that guy in my neighborhood here in Orlando when Mom showed me our new house.  That guy who played with his puppy yesterday.  I just stared at his back as he walked out of the store.  He's with some other guys, some shorter, some taller.  Pretty cool gang.  But other than thanking him for keeping me away from that monster, why would I care though.
