Chapter 6

“JULIE WAKE UP, GET UP, WAKE UP, YOU HAVE SCHOOL!” my alarm blares. It never failed to make me laugh since the day when Luke and Benny had decided to make me a personal recording to make sure I woke up in the morning.

 So I quickly got dressed and brushed my hair and teeth. But, unlike other girls, decided to skip the makeup. what was the point of it anyway. I made my way down the stairs, only to see my dad for a short second as he rushed out the door.

 I never even see my dad, like ever. Even seeing him for these few short moments in the morning was rare. But I understand, his job was a lifestyle. 

 “Morning mom.” I said giving her a quick kiss on the cheek, as she handed me my lunch. The normal peanut butter and jelly I ate almost every day.

 “Morning sweetheart!” she said. “I'm pretty sure Luke just walked out the door, you better get going.”

 “Alright, Thanks Mom! Bye, love you!” I screamed as i walked out the door. Seeing a very tall boy with a blonde quiff looking at me.

 “Well hello there little miss Julie,” he said “You actually woke up in time this morning, shocker.”

 “Shut up Luke, your just jealous that I get more sleep than you.” I said with a giggle.

 “Whatever Jules, you excited for batting today with me?” he asked.

 “Of course, I've got my bat right here, and Benny's not going right?”

 “Nope, he's got a family thing, thank god.” Luke said with a sigh of relief.”All he ever does is look at your ass while you bat.”

 “Oh my Good Luke, he does not! Your such a liar!” I guess it was true, but id never agree with Luke. I refuse to believe that Benny sees me in that way, even if it was true.

 “I'm just stating the truth Jules, now hurry up, were going to be late to class.” Luke said while pulling me into school. 

 So we headed towards our lockers, me and the boys have lockers right next to each other, which is quite useful in the mornings so I can talk to them all. The only downfall is that Calum and his boys lockers are right down the hall from ours. 

 “Julie, Luke! Good morning!” We heard a familiar voice yell, Benny.

 “Hey Ben, morning.” I said while shoving books from my locker into my backpack.

 “How was the walk home Julie, I've been hearing some shit and-“ Benny began to say.

 “Ive got to get to class Ben, Luke fill him in.” I said as the bell rang, and walked down the hall into the gym.
