    "Is he here or not 'cause I've risked a lot to be here" I raise my  voice and try to dodge the question about me being a death eater. "Answer the question" Lupin demands in a calm tone. I gulp and look at George. He didn't tell anyone huh? "Don't you wanna tell them what happened?" I turn to the twin but he looks back at me with sadness. "Ginny was there too why-" I start but our exprofessor cuts me off "We want to hear it from you" he explains. I take a deep breath "I'm not" I answer simply. "How do we know she's not lying?" Ron asks. "Do you guys have some veritaserum?" Remus turns to the twins and they nod, I just scoff. Fred gets a vial out of a suitcase "Let me" George chimes in and reaches for the serum. Lupin holds me down again "It's really not necessary-" I say angrily. As George comes closer to me I notice some small scars on his arm, did that happen when he was at our place I wonder. I open my mouth slowly as I'm shivering and he pours the content of the vial in. I don't feel any different. They start asking standard questions like what's my name, house to make sure it works then they get to the important part "Do you follow You-Know-Who?" they all anxiously wait for my answer "No" they let out a sigh. "What would you have done if the answer was yes?" I ask the inevitably hurtful question but they all look away from me, staying quiet. "Can someone answer me now? Where. Is. Alik?" I ask but everyone's silent. "To Merlin's beard I'll leave then" I say furiously but Lupin grabs my hand. "He was here" he finally says. "But said it was too dangerous to stay in one place for too long" he continues. "I don't understand, why would he even come here he hate-" I say but stop because I don't want to offend them. "It was probably a coincidence he came here but George recognized him. He was in bad shape darling." Mrs. Weasley continues but I keep looking over to George and notice that he's staring at my dark mark so I quickly cover it up with my sleeve. "But then why did I get a letter today saying he's here?" I ask confused. "Oh no..." I say softly under my breath. "I have to go" I continue hastily as I step into the fireplace. "Are you okay darling?" Mrs. Weasley asks worried. "Not really" I answer quickly as I throw the floo powder and disappear "Skye your broth-" I hear George yelling after me but it's too late. Seconds later I'm in my room again where I see Draco pacing up and down and when he realizes I'm there he says "Thank Merlin you're back" and pulls me closer to him so he could hug me. "Who put you up to it?" I ask softly but with anger. "What?" he looks at me puzzled as he ends the hug. "It was a trap. Someone wanted me not to be here. So I ask again. Who put you up to it?" I repeat calmly. "You can't actually think that" he scoffs as he lets go of me. "What even is in the letter? Because I sure didn't see it! For all I know you set up a trap for me-" I explain as I search for the note I got. "You really don't believe me?" Dray wonders heart broken. "I don't know WHAT to believe anymore okay?" I break down and throw everything off my table. I stop for a moment and hear some weird sounds coming from downstairs "Draco what did you do?" I ask with panic. "Skye I didn-" his voice cracks as I push him away to see what the sound is all about.

      I gasp as I see my brother all beaten up and covered in bruises and cuts lying on the floor as my dad points his wand at him. "Alik" I whisper. "Come to see the show?" my father asks happily. I try to hide my sorrowfulness and ask with a straight face "What's he doing here?" I go closer to them but my brother doesn't look up to me, he keeps staring at the floor. "He came here voluntarily. To die" father says dramatically  which makes my heart skip a beat. That can't be right he wouldn't do that. I hear footsteps coming down the stairs, must be Draco. I try to catch a glimpse of my brother's glaze but he still doesn't look up. "Crucio" my father yells and Alik cries out of pain. I grind my teeth because of all the helplessness. I can't aid him because then they'd find out the truth. Last time dad did this to me Alik didn't help and look at where he ended up. "Skye" he whispers in a dying voice. "How dare you say her name you traitor?" father asks furiously as he steps closer to him and puts his wand to my brother's neck. Alik smiles at him sweetly then turns to me and quickly says "Mentir"  in the next second he disappears. He said tell lies in french. Was this all an act, was that not even him? When he turned to me his smile felt different. Familiar but different. "What did he say?" my father rushes up to me. "I don't know" I answer with confidence. I keep imagining my so called brother smiling at me as he says 'tell lies'. I don't think it was actually him. But is he telling me that people are telling me lies or that I should? "You must know he turned to YOU!" father raises his voice. "He's a traitor. His goal was to make us at each other's throaths." I make up a logical explanation. "Your daughter is reasonable. I think she might be right" Narcissa chimes in.

      The person impersonating my brother probably spoke in french because we learned some french words with Alik and used them as codes so our parents wouldn't understand. "Skye I swear I didn't know anything about this" Draco apologizes as soon as we get to my room. "I know you didn't" I answer. "Okay hear me out.. Wait you said you know? How?" he asks bewildered. "That wasn't my brother" I explain simply but his eyes open wider, I made him more confused. "I just.. know it okay? I'm sorry for accusing you.." I turn to him gloomy. "It's a crazy year love, it's okay" he puts his arm around me lovingly and I put my head on his shoulder. However I can't stay in one place my thoughts are scattered. "There was something weird going on at the Burrow.. Can you show me the letter?" I ask curiously, I'll get to the bottom of this mystery. He hands me the note, I read through it looking for some clues. I'm distressed but I feel happier because Dray is here for me. There it is, the clue: the capital letters read out G IS A. Could it mean George is Alik? "Did you find anything?" my boyfriend caresses my back. "Maybe" I say with knitted eyebrows. "You know.. it's already late you should just rest" he grabs my face gently and smiles. "Can you stay?" I look deeply in his eyes. "My pleasure" he responds as he kisses me softly.
