     I thought I'd be happier after I leave Draco but my tears keep rolling down my face. And my thought are racing and so does my heart. But I did the right thing.. I think. I go to the gryffindor room to give George's sweater back and Harry also told me to meet him here because we had a meeting scheduled. In hopes of getting in quicker I use the password that I heard the boys say yesterday but it doesn't work anymore. So while I wait for someone to let me in I wonder whether or not I've made the right choice with Draco. I just want to protect him and myself too. Some time apart and we might even come out stronger than we were before. Neville's coming up the stairs so I ask him "Heey could you let me in? Harry wanted to talk to me." He responds with "Oh yeah, sure." then says the password and we go in. "Thanks Neville!" I smile at him. I look around and see the golden trio sitting near the fireplace, on the couch and on the floor. "Hi guys" I greet them. "Hey Skye, are you feeling any better?" Harry asks interested. "Yeah I guess. What did you want to talk to me about?" I ask to get to the point. "Well I know that you don't agree with Umbridge's teaching methods. And like-minded people have created a group where I teach Defense Against Dark Arts or something like that. Anyway I'd like for you to join. If you're interested Hermione will tell you more about it" he explains. "Wow a secret study group huh? Sounds cool, I'm in." I respond happily. "Okay so the ground rules." Hermione starts as I sit down on the floor. "We're called Dumledore's Army, the classes are in the Room of Requirement and we communicate through enchanted coins and you can't tell anyone about this whole thing" she sums it up. "Dumbledore's army... I can see now why you hesitated to invite me but I won't disappoint. I promise" I say honestly to Harry. "Oh Ron could you give this back to your brother?" I ask him after I take off the sweater and handing it over to him. "Yeah, sure" Ron answers. "Can't wait to train with you guys!" I say excitedly to them. "Don't forget your coin!" Hermione warns me and gives it to me. It's really similar to the one George and I have, a pretty smart way to notify the members about the time of these classes. "Okay I'll see you guys later then!" I say goodbye to them and exit the room.

     The following months go by, Draco and I are still akward after we said we'd be just friends. But I actually think it's working though because he's been really kind to me and we haven't had a fight after our big one. Could be because we talk less but still I think it's improvement. I spend most of my free time studying, going to D.A meetings and quidditch practices (because we've been lacking possibly because of what happened between Dray and I). And as winter break approaches I bury myself into books to study for the O.W.Ls. After George left the school I haven't really had a social life other than going to quidditch practice but fortunately Georgie sends me letters and tells me all about how their shop is going and I told him about how Snape's hair still isn't green which means he didn't wash his hair in like a month. Although mentioning Snape I still didn't figure out why he erased some of my meomories of him using Legilimency on me.

     On these classes that Harry teaches we learn about using defensive spells, the disarming charm and also patronus charm. When I went there for the first time everyone looked at me weirdly which I understand, I'm in slytherin so I'm supposed to be evil, people are usually scared of me. "Hi Skye! It's great to see you!" Harry says to me as I step in. "Hii can't wait to kick your asses!" I giggle to the trio. "We'll see about that" Ron says to me cheeky. "Alright guys pair up!" Harry shouts to start the class. Everyone quickly finds someone to pair up with but I'm left without someone to practice with. "Don't worry Skye, you're with me" Harry says to me smiling. Great my partner is the chosen one I think to myself. "Okay so we're gonna start with the disarming charm and then move on to practice some spells on a doll" Harry tells the class. "Skye would you like to demonstrate it?" he turns to me while smiling at me encouragingly. I draw out my wand and say "Expelliarmus" which causes Harry's wand to fly out of his hand. "Great work! Now everyone!" he compliments me then comes up to me and says "I knew it was a good idea to invite you. You're a great addition to the team" he pats my arm. "Can you show me some spells you can do?" he asks excitedly. I nod and show some (like Bombarda, Oppugno, Deprimo ) on the doll. "Woow you don't even need to learn you could even help me out with teaching some day" he jokes and I softly giggle. After my demonstration even more people are afraid of me but Ginny comes up to me after class "I knew you'd do great" she says as she hugs me. "Thank you for getting me in" I say to her gratefully. "So guys this is the last time we'll see each other before winter break" Harry says to us which makes everyone sad. "But not to worry we'll meet after break!" he continues, his voice's filled with hope. "Until then have a good holiday!" he finishes his little speech so we applaud him. I get ready to leave but Ginny stops me "Hey do you wanna come over and spend the winter break at The Burrow?" she asks. "Oh omm.. Ginny thank you so much for inviting me I might pop by but I need to visit my brother first. But I'd love to see you guys!" I respond. "Okay, I get it, just send me an owl so we know when to expect you!" she says to me understandingly. 

     I go back to the dungeons to pack my stuff but when I enter the common room I see Draco with Pansy and Blaise sitting on a couch. From the corner of my eye I can see that Dray glimpsed at me but I didn't give it much thought so I just go to my dorm and get ready for the train ride tomorrow. I miss my brother so much, I can't wait to see him. We didn't even write letters to each others in order to lay low. I also haven't seem my dad in almost a year now, we didn't really talk much before either so I don't miss him torturing me and giving me the usual talk every year and him forcing his world views on me. I'm better off without him. After I finish packing I sit on my bed and play with Asmo, waiting for tomorrow to see my brother and have a nice winter break.
