    I know I shouldn't have gone to the club 'meeting' but I wanted to feel something again but I feel like I overshot the mark. I drained myself, healing will probably take even longer now and Draco kissed me, admitting that the potion we did was really veritaserum. But should I believe him? I want to... When I open my eyes I see Alik and Dray fighting. "Could you guys talk any louder?" I ask them sarcastically. "You shouldn't be on such a high horse, do you not care about your well being?" my brother asks madly. I don't say anything just sit there quietly. "Fortunately Malfoy found out where this little club meeting of yours is held" he continues. I'm sure he doesn't know that he kissed me he detests the idea of me dating someone and if he knew he wouldn't talk so highly of him. Should I mention it just to make him slip up? No I won't cause what if he hurts Dray? "It's only the first day after break and you already look like hell." he says to me but I can't even look at him, when my brother gets mad at me I know I really did something wrong. "Hell why did you do it Skye?" Draco chimes in. "We've been doing this all year you know, the 'meetings'.." I admit it. "Well if you keep this up we have to go to Snape to get something for your wounds" Alik threatens me. "Why don't we just go to Madam Pomfrey?" I ask. "She'd tell Dumbledore for sure, at least Snape's our headmaster maybe he'll get it." my brother explains. "I'll take her tomorrow" Dray offers. "Then that's settled. Now let's get some sleep" Alik says as he goes up to his chambers. "I don't know how to make you happy..." Dray says out of the blue. "I don't feel like I could ever be happy again." I respond to him. He takes a few steps forward and comes closer to me. He wipes off my tears with his fingers and pushes my hair out of my face as he says: "I'll try everything to make you lively again." looking into my eyes I raise my head and look into his eyes. The next moment I kiss him softly and he kisses me back. I say "Thank you for being here for me" as we break the kiss.

    Next morning I check out my injuries, my arm is more bruised than it was yesterday but other than that I feel fine. I put on my robe, scarf, get my books and wand then head down to the dungeons where I see Dray waiting for me. He gives me a quick kiss on my cheeks then quickly apologises "Wait is this okay? We didn't talk about it yesterday.." he asks. "How about we keep it between just the two of us, is that fine with you?" I ask enquiringly. "Oh, yeah, sure" he answers hesitantly. We go to Snape's classroom looking for him "Professor?" I ask when we enter the room. "Yes Miss Thorn?" he says slowly as he comes forward. "I was wondering if the professor could help me out with some injuries..." I said. "What kind of injuries?" he asks curiously. "Mostly cuts and bruises" I respond. "Could I examine them?" he asks while stepping closer to me. "I take off my scarf and his eyes widen as he looks at the deep cut on my neck. "Where did you get this injury?" he asks whilst he goes to look for a potion. "Omm... quidditch! I was playing quidditch." I say excitedly because I figured out an excuse but then I remind myself that I shouldn't be sounding that excited about my injuries. "You really are a devoted player Miss Thorn, playing quidditch this hard even in winter break" he says as he gives me the potion. "That should make it better, unless the cause of your wounds was magic, not just falling off of your broom or however you say it happened" he adds. Does he know the truth? "Thank you professor, I'll drink it later" I say and start walking out of the room when Snape says: "Why don't you drink it now? If this doesn't work you'll need something stronger." I look at Draco in despair, I don't know what to do. "Professor we really have to--" Draco says making up an excuse but Snape doesn't let him continue: "Miss Thorn now, if you could." I open the vial and drink it hoping that it'd work anyway. Snape takes my arm to look at my bruises and cuts but they're still there. "Care to explain how you actually got these injuries Miss?" he turns to me with a serious expression on his face. "Professor... I'd rather not-" I say shyly. "Malfoy get out" Snape says abruptly. "But why-" Dray starts saying but the professor interrupts him "Now." and looks at him deadly serious. Draco hesitates for a minute but goes out of the room. "Now, Miss Thorn tell me the truth or I'll get in your head and see it for myself!" Snape looks at me. "Wait what? There's no way that's allowed..." I say in surprise. "Tell me or you'll find out whether or not I'm lying" he steps closer to me but I stay silent. So he uses Legilimency on me and sees what my dad did to me and my mother's death. "Satisfied?" I ask him with a small smile on my face to hide the pain. There were some Legilimens in my family, I wonder if I can do it, as revenge. So I pick up my wand and say Legilimens. I could only see inside his head for a moment, when he was distracted. But what I saw took me by surprise. It was him making me forget things. "Detention!" He says and flounces out so I don't have any chance of asking him about what I just saw.

    I go out of his office where I see Dray nervously waiting for me. "What happened? I'm sorry I didn't stay I just..." he asks hastily. "The only thing I know is that I gotta learn Occlumency" I say to him and he looks at me confused. "Did he do something to you? Are your scars gone?" he asked. "No... I umm I don't know what happened. I gotta find Alik" I say to him and walk away but I can hear him shouting "Skye, stop!" I start running faster and faster but I bump into someone. "Whoa why are you in such a hurry?" asks the boy I've bumped into, I look up and see George looking at me. "Oh, hi!" I say with my thoughts racing. "Are you okay?" he asks me but I can't answer because Draco catches up to me. "Skye why the fuck did you run away like that?" Dray asks in an offended tone and when he sees George he looks at him disgustedly. "Oh you again" says Dray annoyed. "Aren't you supposed to be draining the life out of your daddy?" George turns to him. "Although I'm enjoying this a lot I have to go find my brother so-" I say. "I actually saw him going up to Dumbledore's office." George tells me. "Oh no, that's not good, George did you bring the Extendable Ears?" I ask him. "Meet you in front in 2!" he says and starts running to gryffindor dorms. I smile at him as he's getting further away from me. "Are you seriously gonna do that?" Malfoy asks. "Draco don't you understand that I have to know what's going on with Alik?" I ask bitterly and walk away to meet George in front of Dumbledore's office.
