~Few days later~

Dray

Madam Rosmerta informed me that Dumbledore left school with Harry so now's the time to get our plan started. I rush back to the common room looking for Skye. Fortunately I find her reading a book on a sofa "Skye" I call out her name and she quickly raises her head to look at me. "We should go" I say with a serious tone as my heart is racing. She gets up and comes up to me looking worried. "Is it.. time?" I notice her getting paler as I nod to answer her question. "I'll uhh go to the cabinet and take care of it you... do your thing. I'll come after you" she strokes my face encouragingly. "Please hurry" I grab her hand and she kisses me goodbye before she exits and her fingers slowly slip out of my hand as she leaves. Why does it feel this could be goodbye forever? As I close my eyes for a moment I hear the door open so I quickly get myself together but it's Skye who walks in. "I love you" she admits with teary eyes, I'm shocked she said that but really glad at the same time. "You're everything to me, I love you" I smile then kiss her like I've never had. Prepared for this to be our last kiss. "We'll be fine.." she says as my hands are still on her face but it sounds more like a question. "I promise" I reassure her with our foreheads touching together.

       The death eaters must've arrived because as I look outside the window I see the dark mark up in the air menacingly. Our plan is going how it should be. I also see some people on brooms flying to the Astronomy Tower. I go up to the tower and hear sounds from there. I step in and notice Dumbledore standing there "Expelliarmus" I disarm him quickly. "Draco, wonderful evening!" he responds calmly but he seems weaker. "Who were you with?" I ask with my wand still pointed at him. "I wanted to ask you the same question. Are you doing this alone?" he asks me. "I had help. Death eaters and Skye.." I admit to gloat. "Oh Skye? I thought she was on our side... And death eaters in our school that's impressive Draco" he's surprised about my girlfriend being in on it but the death eaters don't startle him. "Yeah she's a double agent just like Snape he wanted to help me out several times" I inform him to shatter his hope. "Now I don't believe that. Severus is one of my closest friend." he says in a faint voice. "You'll be surprised" I answer threatheningly. "So what are you waiting for Draco?" my headmaster asks "You can still switch to the good side and you'll have protection from Voldemort" he adds calmly. "Don't you understand? I have to do this... I have to kill you or he'll kill her" I say with tears in my voice. Seconds later someone else starts speaking which startles me "Dracoo I brought you a preseeent" Bellatrix sings and when she enters I realize her wand is pointed at Skye's neck. "NO!" I yell and slowly let my wand down "Don't you dare put that down! She's just motivation so you finish the task. She is supposed to help you after all" my aunt smiles evilly.

Skye

    Dray struggles to say the killing curse so Bella comes out of the shadows holding her wand to my neck "Do it Draco! Because someone will die!" she threatens him as she giggles. I look behind Dray and see my father entering with a faint smile on his face. "It's okay Dray" I support him "We don't have to be like them" I add softly as I keep my gaze fixed on him, hoping no one else would hear that. "Shush girl!" Bellatrix says angrily and grabs the back of my head strongly, making my head tilt back as she pushes her wand deeper into my neck. I can hear my father scoff "She can handle more than just empty threats" he chimes in. "Oh do you want to demonstrate?" Bellatrix chuckles excitedly. She lets go of me and pushes me forward, to my father "I'm very disappointed in you Scarlett" Merlin's beard I hate it when he uses my full name. He grabs my chin firmly but I try turning my face away to get out of his grip unfortunately he just keeps turning my head back with force, making me look at him "It's been a while father" I say to him disgusted. "Draco can you just kill him so they can continue sparring later?" Bella asks annoyed and bored. To that my father's answer is getting his wand and pointing it at me "Crucio" he says calmly which makes my body hurt in all kinds of ways because he didn't use this curse on me in a long time, I'm not used to it as I was years ago. I can see Draco flinching as he sees me in pain, wanting to help. "Finish it and I'll stop" my father says to him as I let out a scream but then immeadiately try to cover my mouth with tears start running down my face. In the next moment someone walks in and the pain suddenly stops. As I try to catch my breath I can faintly hear Bellatrix go "Aaaa no the fun has stopped..." she pouts. "Severus I was teaching a lesson and giving the boy some motivation" my father gets upset. "You can finish later" the professor looks at me with pity and pain in his eyes, I know he doesn't mean what he said, if he could he'd help me... right? "But we have some more pressing matter" he puts his hand on Draco's shoulder. "Severus what a nice surprise" Dumbledore greets the professor with a faint voice. "Draco just kill him already" Bellatrix says bored but as I'm kneeling on the floor I see that his hand is slightly shaking with fear as he's looking at our headmaster. "Severus.." Dumbledore whispers and that makes Snape take a few steps, shoving Draco out of the way which makes me stand up. "Severus, please..." he continues with a pale face as he's weakly holding onto a statue so he won't fall. Our professor raises his wand with confidence, his face stays cold as he points it at the headmaster. "Avada Kedavra" the green trail of light reaches our target in his heart and he starts falling then disappears. For some reason my heart beats even faster now than before but the only thing I can think of is "Dray.." I whisper softly and he comes closer to me, putting his hand around me, supporting my body so I wouldn't fall. "I'm sorry... I promised you'd be okay" he says in a frightened tone. "It's okay, at least you weren't the one saying the killing curse and you couldn't have done anything about my father" I encourage him. "But I was supposed to... what if He finds out and keeps His promise?" Dray's face becomes pale. The death eaters start celebrating as we exit the tower, they blow everything up that stands in their way. "It's... I'm sure He'll understand" I try to cheer him up but there's worry written all over his face.
