I clenched my eyes tighter together, my head pounding as if someone started to beat it with a hammer. The sound of birds filled my ears, and I could feel the grass underneath my body with the Sun warming it up.
Grass? How the hell is there grass in the living room? And, why in the hell do I feel the sun burning my back? I was supposed to be indoors getting ready for my children's birthday party.
My kids. I opened my eyes and sat up, faster than I should have. The world started to spin, and I groaned and laid my head back down, waiting for the world to stop spinning. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, trying to get the world to stop spinning and my stomach to calm itself.
As soon as it did, I opened my eyes and sat up slowly before taking in my surroundings. My whole body was tense because I had no idea where I was, and I had no idea where my family was at. I knew that I wasn't alone because I could sense someone near me, but I knew that that the person wasn't part of my family.
A groan sounded near me, and I looked that way to see a boy with blonde hair stirring.
He didn't smell familiar to me, but I could tell that he smelt like an Alpha as well as having some Royal Blood. He tried to sit up but instantly fell back down, clutching his head as if he was in pain.
I stood on shaky legs and walked over to him, and pushed him down when he tried to get up again. "Don't," I warned, and he sat up and glared at me with startling blue eyes. "Told you," I added, biting back a smirk when he leaned over and threw up beside him, thankful that he didn't throw up on me because I had already dealt with that before.
"Oh, shut up," he said with a small growl. He took a deep breath and opened up his eyes to stare at me with those blue eyes again. Distrust filled his eyes, and I knew that I might not earn trust, even though I hadn't done anything to him. "Who are you?" he asked, baring his teeth at me as if he was a Wolf. "What did you do to me?"
I raised an eyebrow, unimpressed that he thought I had something to do with this when all I wanted to do was celebrate my children's birthdays. "I am Alpha Rylan Pierce of the GreenRock Pack," I replied, keeping my voice calm and level. "And you are?"
The male narrowed his eyes at me. The distrust in his eyes appeared more, and my heart ached for some reason, maybe because he had glared at me with such ferocity that I didn't know what to do. "Alpha Garrett Vander of the Silver Lining Pack. I have never heard of the GreenRock Pack, so who are you really?"
I blinked again, unimpressed by his behavior. I had never heard of the Silver Lining Pack, and I knew all of the packs because my job had taken me to them while I tried to kill all the Uninnocent that wanted to kill me first. I glanced around, keeping an eye on him, and noticed that this place had two Suns and knew that we were not on my Earth. "I told you who I was," I replied, and he scoffed and rolled his eyes.
"Please," he said. "Stop lying to me. I am of Royal Blood." He stood, and I could tell that he wasn't steady on his feet. His whole body was tense, and I could tell that he was wanting to attack me. However, he knew that he would probably not be able to win because he was so unsteady.
"Not of the Royal family that I know," I replied. I stood up, feeling better than I had been. "And this isn't my world. My world doesn't have two Suns." I pointed to the sky, and Garrett looked up and studied the Suns.
"What the fuck?" he asked, confusion filling his face. He looked at me and cocked his head, raising an eyebrow. "Where did the other Sun come from?"
I shrugged my shoulders and grimaced. "Don't know," I replied, "but there has to be a reason as to why we are here. But first, we need to find people that we both know before we find a way out of here."

I could feel him staring at my back while we walked in a direction that Garrett had let me pick. I knew that he was staring at my mark, the mark that marked me as the Red Wolf. "That mark has been there since I was three," I said, knowing that he was going to ask about it. "It marks me as the Red Wolf."
Garrett moved to my side and frowned. "There is no such thing as "the Red Wolf,"" he said as a matter of fact.
"Not where you live, probably not," I replied, giving him a pointed look. "They do where I live as well as Blue Wolves."
Garrett scoffed and rolled his eyes. "Please, the next thing that you will tell me is that he has powers, and he controls water."
"He does," I replied. "I control fire."
Garrett gave me a weird look, and I could tell that he didn't believe me. "Prove it."
I shook my head. I had a feeling that we were being watched, but I couldn't pinpoint where. I had no idea if the person was dangerous or not, and I didn't want them to know that I could actually do it.
"You can't," Garrett said. He narrowed his eyes at me, and I could tell that he lost whatever trust he had in me. "So, basically, you are lying to me."
I stopped in my tracks and looked at the area where I had felt someone watching me. I gave the area a pointed look, and some of the branches went back up, letting me know that someone was watching us. "Or, I don't want to do it," I said. I narrowed my eyes at the spot and made a fist, prepared to attack if need be. "Show yourself," I commanded. "Now, before I do do it. This is your first and only warning."
