I followed Thomas, wondering if he knew where he was going. I could feel this bond that was connecting me to my mate and wanted to follow it. However, we were going in the opposite direction. "Do you even know where we are going?" I asked, and Thomas turned towards me and glared.

"Yes," he replied. "We are going east. My mate is to the east."

I shook my head. "That way isn't the east," I said. "There are two Suns. Remember?"

Thomas looked up to see that there were two suns. Confusion filled his face, but he quickly covered. "Ok, then which way do we go?" he asked, looking back at me. He raised an eyebrow and scowled. "Or do you know where we need to go?"

I nodded my head and turned in the direction that the pull was the strongest. I started to follow it, keeping an eye on my surroundings.

"So, you have powers," Thomas said, coming to my side and talking about the fight that we had before trying to find people. "How did that work out?"

"My mate has powers," I replied. I ducked underneath a tree branch, still following the trail that I couldn't see. "She is the rarest Wolf where we live, and I am the second rarest. However, I am the only Blue Wolf that has powers."

"What about White Wolves and Black Wolves?" he asked.

"There are four of them. There is one in each hemisphere. I have met them all. They're nice people, but they... seem to be full of themselves."

"And your mate isn't?" Thomas asked, and I glanced at him through the corner of my eye.

"What about yours?" I asked. "Is she full of herself?"

He growled a warning and narrowed his eyes at me, and all I did was raise an eyebrow. "You don't know what shit my mate and I had gone through," he said, his voice shaking with anger. "You have no idea what she had gone through."

"You don't know the shit that my mate has been, through either," I replied. "She has the kindest heart that I have ever met." I took a deep breath, trying to keep from lashing out. It was still hard for me not to show dominance, but I had been doing better. I had started to become the Alpha that the pack needed me to be, but Ry was still called Alpha.

"Oh, ya? Has she been bullied?" he asked.

I clenched my fists and gritted my teeth. Of all the things he could ask, he had to ask that. "Yes," I grunted.

"By the whole pack?"

"Yes."

"Did she cut?"

"Why are we even comparing the shit that our mates had been through?" I asked, looking at him. I knew that Ry wouldn't want me to tell her story. It was her story and what she had to face. It wasn't my place to tell.

There was a loud crack and then a hoot of laughter, and I stopped and stared in that direction.

I grunted when Thomas ran into me and glared at him.

"You were the one that stopped," Thomas said. He narrowed his eyes at me. "Why?"

"Didn't you hear that hoot of laughter?" I asked, and he shook his head. "What about the cracking of a branch?"

"I wasn't paying attention," he replied. "I was trying to think of how far my foot can go up to your ass."

That is definitely something Ry would say, I thought. I tried linking my mate, but I wasn't able to. "Are we going to see what that noise was about?" I asked, looking at him.

"I am following you, not Alpha," he replied, and I growled a warning. He lifted his jaw and narrowed his eyes, daring me to do something to him.

I pursed my lips and narrowed my eyes at him. "I am still Alpha born," I said, my voice shaking with anger. "Do not think that I am some sort of punk that can be stepped on."

"I am not," Thomas said. "Do you want to see what is going on, or are we going to try to find your mate?"

I bit back a growl before turning towards the area that I had heard the laughter. I started to walk in that direction, and Thomas muttered something under his breath that I didn't quite catch but didn't bring myself to care.

Out of all people, why was I stuck with him? I thought, narrowing my eyes and gritting my teeth. I hope that I can find someone that I can stand.

"I told you that tree was rotten, you fucking dimwit," I heard the voice of someone that I knew. "Why didn't you listen?"

"Because," another voice said, and I groaned out in annoyance because I knew who that person was. "You may be our queen, but you are our little sister first and foremost."

"Am I the only one that has brains in our family?" the first person, Bailey, asked.

"Ry did call us Dumb and Dumber," another male, Chris, said. "Thaddeus is dumber."

"Am not," Thaddeus replied.

"Are, too. You are the one with their ass stuck in a tree."

"You are the one that dared me to do it. You wanted me to see if there was a way out of the forest, or see if we can't find some other people."

"Preferably someone that I know," another male said. "Are they always like this?"

"Yes, and if you add Ry with them, then it is a whole lot of goofing off and daring e-" She paused when both Thomas and I came out of the bushes. "Oh thank, Goddess," she practically said, crying. She ran over and jumped on me, hugging me. "Please save me from my insane brothers."

I grunted and stumbled backward, not expecting her to jump on me. "It's good to see you, too, Bay," I said, patting her back. "But, your brothers are probably going to bug you for the rest of your life."

Bailey groaned and laid her head on my shoulder. "Just my luck," she said. "First, Jonah, Cason, and Callie run from the room that we had them in, and now I am stuck with my two idiots of brothers with no idea where my mate is at."

My whole body tensed when she said my son's name. "Where is my son?" I asked. "Is that why you didn't stay in the room?"

"Uh, ya," Bay said. She let go of me and moved a hand through her hair. "Gigi and Becca went to chase them, but they didn't get them."

"Is my mate here?" Thaddeus asked. "Or, is she still in the room?"

"Ya, what about my mate?" Chris asked.

"Melina was still in the room. Mitchie wasn't."

"And, my mate was sick," the other male said. "My name is Cason, Prince Cason." He held his hand out for me to shake.

"Cooper," I replied, shaking his hand. "Alpha Born Cooper."

Cason furrowed his brows in confusion. "Why aren't you saying "Alpha" Cooper?" he asked. "Don't you have that title?"

"He did," Thaddeus said.

"But, two or three years ago, he had given the Alpha title to his mate," Chris added.

"She is a really good Alpha."

"She is, but she is a pain in the ass."

"She is very much a pain in the ass, but we love her."

"We lo-"

"Oh, for the love of Goddess, would you two, please shut up?" Bailey said, rubbing her hand across her face. She glared at her twin brothers, and they grinned at her innocently. "Nobody cares that you love Ry and think of her as this holy person."

"Like nobody cares that Cooper is Alpha Born," Thomas said.

I gave him an annoyed look. "Would you shut up? Or do I need to glue your mouth shut?"

"Probably glue his mouth shut would be the best bet," Cason said. "He gets pretty annoying."

"So can Ry," I grunted. "So can Ry."
