DESPITE EVERYTHING, rosaline had no choice. going back for daryl was a risk. she picked up the dog on the bus next to her as maggie jumped over the fence to join glenn.

maggie looked up at her, "rosaline give me him!"

"he's gonna be fine, he can jump down! i don't want you injured," she yelled back, letting the dog place his front paws on the wall before sliding down to the other side. the girl's eyes landed on what was going on behind her, "i have to go for daryl!"

"rosaline, no! you can't, it's too dangerous he will come on his own!" maggie urged, waving her down.

     "what if they get him?!"

     "they won't!"

rosaline was weighing her chances. in her heart, she wanted so much to go after him. there was no other way, she hopped over the wall. swiftly, they all rushed through going back to the cover themselves behind a car.

rick turned around, "get down." spotlights shone on every area it possibly could. daryl still wasn't with them, "come on, daryl..."

rustling sounded behind them, giving rosaline hope. however, it was just the woman they were with before. she looked like she'd gotten into a heavy fist fight.

without delay, rick cocked his gun at her, "where the hell were you?" he said angrily. she stumbled, "put your hands up. turn around, turn around!"

the woman did as she was told, he took the sword out of her sheath, disarming her.

rosaline broke the silence, "where's daryl?" she asked.

he ignored her for a second, leaning closer to the stranger, "get what you came for?"

"where are the rest of your people?" she asked.

     "they got oscar." glenn answered.

rosaline placed a hand on her forehead, her stomach doing flips, "and daryl is missing."

maggie kept her pistol trained on her, "you didn't see him?"

rick wanted to comfort rosaline but he wanted to know about his right-hand man's whereabouts, "if anything happens to him-"

the woman interrupted their leader, "i brought you here to save them." she snapped.

rick nodded, seemingly understanding, "thanks for the help."

"you'll need help to get them back to the prison, or to go back in there for daryl- either way, you need me." she urged.

rosaline was absolutely enraged. the girl knew she shouldn't have let daryl go. she knew better than that - he'd probably went out looking for his brother and was taken, hostage. it was a stupid thing to do. however, she couldn't cry about it- she had to go back in and get him.
