SOON IT was time for andrea to leave. glenn retrieved a car for her, so she could make it back to woodbury safely.

she hoisted her bag on her back before looking to glenn, "can you spare it?"

     rick nodded, "yeah."

before getting in the car, the blonde gazed around, her eyes meeting michonne's who was leaning against the wall, looking heavily unimpressed with her decision to return.

"well, take care." she said her farewell, getting in the car.

rick stopped her before she drove off, "andrea." she looked at him and he passed her a knife and gun, "be careful."

she let out a quick breath, "you too." she started the engine and drove off.

night had arrived and rick decided to give rosaline some rest when judith sired and woke up. the girl was laying up in her cell, listening as beth sung some of the songs she knew in the candlelight.

she decided to get up and go down the steps to look at the group for a bit. after judith woke her up, she just couldn't seem to get back to sleep.

rick took his place beside hershel who stood with daryl. even merle had decided to come out to hear the girl sing.

as daryl spoke, his eyes kept focusing on rosaline, who yawned at the staircase, leaning against maggie who let her stay like that. he knew the girl didn't sleep much.

he remembered the time she'd come and asked him to let her sleep with him.

thinking about that time made his stomach flutter, so he turned his attention back to rick who requested for him to stay down and hold the fort to look after his brother in case he tried anything.

maggie managed to get the girl back to bed. although, all she managed to shift and stir. for some reason, knowing the fact that they could be attacked again made her restless.

silently, she crept out herself and into the lower level of the cellblock where the candles were still lit. daryl was sat on watch. he noticed her come down the steps.

this was a golden opportunity to talk to her. nobody else was listening, everyone was asleep.

     "can't sleep?" he asked quietly.
