As you walked down Lansdowne Street, for what probably was the 50th time since you first came in 2016, it still somehow managed to give you goosebumps. Maybe it was because as you walk up and take that turn around the corner from Ipswich Street you're immediately greeted by the majestic towering sign in that iconic green you knew so well, welcoming you to the home of the best franchise in Major League Baseball. Or maybe it was due to the fact that it was a street where countless times Bostonians in true nature, got pissed drunk and celebrated after a big win from their favorite team . Heck even non Bostonians such as yourself had been part of a celebration or two in that street. Which you were highly proud of. For years it has been a place of heartbreak and joy. It's a place where thousands of people young and old flock to every year from April to October, in order to visit one of Baseball's oldest standing cathedrals.

You continue passing along the brick outer wall and backside of the Green Monster, you see a few people scattered along, some taking pictures and others just passing through. In a couple of hours the street would be buzzing with excitement. The water misters along the outside patio seating of the few bars lining the street would soon be cooling down the crowd of people from the suffocating summer humidity. Secretly you preferred the calm peaceful quiet before a ball game. The unknown of what could happen that night, the possible highlight reel catch from an outfielder, the thrill of your star Ace throwing a No-Hitter or the spectacular catch by a fan from a foul ball hit into the stands.

The entrance for the visiting teams staff and social media members didn't require for you to turn into Lansdowne but you couldn't help but take your usual route along the whole of Fenway Park. Your cold brew from Dunk'n in one hand and your phone in the other. you stop and take a quick selfie, a broad cheesy smile runs across the whole of your face, the white sign saying GATE A in the background. After deciding on the perfect picture you pull up your messages and send it to Benn and D. You take a look at the time and realize you've gone a bit overboard on your time spent admiring and daydreaming about Fenway. You hurry up down Jersey Street and make it to the entrance by the ticket sales booth, showing them your Rangers Social Media Access Pass to Fenway Security and they allow you to enter. You walk along the concourse and can hear the sounds of batting practice happening at the moment. Next thing you know you were running up one of the corridors to take a sneak peek of the happenings down on the field. As you make it to the top step, you are momentarily blinded by the bright mid morning sun. As your eyes adjust slowly to the light, your eyes focus and catch a glimpse of the imposing green monster in the backdrop and the sea of red seats. To the right of the monster the gigantic "John Hancock" sign and video board with tonight's matchup information: Rangers vs. Red Sox. Followed by the Budweiser sign and Prudential Building peeking from behind. Memories of games you had attended come rushing to the front of your mind, your first game ever during Big Papi's farewell season, your first date with Jared and Xander's game winning Grand Slam in the bottom of the 8th inning, taking D for her first ever Sawx game which they won due to an amazing display of offense. She, unlike you, was blessed with good luck as all the games she attended at Fenway the Red Sox managed to pull out a W.

🎶"We all live in a yellow submarine." 🎶

Startled, you jump up. Your phone goes flying onto the concrete floor from the sudden vibration and ringtone. Your daydreaming coming to an abrupt end.

"Scheisse!!" you let out.

You pray and hope that there was no major damage to it.

"C'mon don't be broken, don't be broken." You mumble under your breath

Crap.

The screen was shattered. Still ringing, and through the million cracks now on your phone screen you see it's James your supervisor calling.
