John is dying.

He isn't actually dying, but it feels like he is. This is probably because he's laying on the chest of his best friend- and crush- of 5 years. He would've probably fallen asleep again if he didn't realize that his friends were waiting for him.

He didn't want to wake up Dave, so he slowly shifted off his chest-

and landed right onto the floor.

"Ow!" John yelled and rubbed his head. "Pffft dude are you okay?" Dave chuckled and held out his hand to help John up. He grabbed Dave's hand and half-heartedly smiled. "Yeah I'm okay." He sat down next to him on the bed. John realized he was still holding his hand and quickly let go. He averted his eyes and looked down at Dave's Minecraft bed sheets. He once again realized that his friends were waiting for him to play Minecraft.

He stood up and nervously said "I should go." "Aw, already, Egbert?" He pretended to be hurt. John quickly defended himself, "I-It's just that the g-gang is waiting for us to play Minecraft and you don't-" "Easy there, champ." Dave sat up and put a hand on his shoulder. "I think I have an idea what you were gonna say, and I got ya." He went over to his closet and pulled out a beanbag chair. "How did you fit a beanbag chair in your closet?" John asked as Dave set down the beanbag next to his gamer chair™️.

"Magic." He says down in the beanbag chair and put on his headset. He pulled out a box with a blue headset and scratched the back of his neck. "I was gonna give it to you for your birthday but uh,, figured you could use it now." Dave nervously handed the box to John, hoping he would like it. "THANKS SO MUCH, DAVEY!!" John tackle hugged him. Dave chuckled and pushed him off, "C'mon, dork. Let's play some fuckin' Minecraft!"
