Bite marks

chapter 7

We carried on walking back but me and Silver walked in front of Alex . All the way back to the territory , I could feel him staring at me. It made me feel very self concious so I started to fidget Pulling the lose material from underneath Alex's jacket. that distracted me for about 10 seconds   then I got that tingling sensation at the back of my neck and that was all I could focus on.

I didn't want to confront him because that would mean speaking to him and that was the last thing I wanted to do right now, And looking at him was hard enough with his perfect ...... Everything!  Every time our eyes met massive fireworks exploded in my heart and my stomach did flips.

" So ....... how did you find out he was your mate then? .... The real story please!" She begged giving me the puppy dog eyes, as I had only told her the short story. Its not very romantic , its not one of those stories that were like ' and our eyes met from across the room and I new he was the one.'  But I have to admit that it was an interesting story.

"Well ,I went to the bar to go and get a drink when I smelt a rogue." I started to explain, already seeing the excitement in her eyes as she intensely stared at me with a goofy grin plastered on her face." I went to go and find you so we could leave, but as soon as I turned around he was in front of me. He pulled me in to a store room ...." I quietened down when i heard a low growl from behind us making me nervous that he was going to wolf out on us. So i carried on in a hushed whisper." and ripped of my dress and then Alex came in and saved me." I said it with no emotion, like I was talking about the weather as I wasn't in the mood for thousands of questions so I gave her my ' and that's it ' look , she nodded her head and then took a quick glance behind us with a knowing look in her eyes as if she was possessing everything that I had just said.

- you do realise that he has been staring at you all the way from the club!- Silver said in to my head and I just shrugged. I new he was staring at me from the intense butterflies and the itch to turn around and look at him as well.

-what can I say..... I'm beautiful!- I said sarcastically  flipping my hair over my shoulder dramatically and then we both started to laugh.

We got a strange look from Alex which made me laugh even harder. His confused face was so adorable and the little frown lines on his perfect face made me want to smooth them out myself just so I could touch his beautiful ivory skin that was so clear.

"What are you laughing at?" He asked with the same expression but I could tell he was slightly amused by the twitch of his lip and the glint of amusement  in his eyes.

"Nothing..." I told him and spun round and carried on walking smirking as I had got a reaction out of him from just laughing. And I could have sworn I saw joy in his eyes but dismissed it as the slowly wearing off alcohol.

About 5 minutes later I heard Alex chuckle from behind us. I turned to look at him and just like all the other times he was staring at me back. Not that I didn't know that already. Seriously this man could kill from just looking at you .

"What are you laughing at?" I asked mimicking him from earlier with my face void of emotions, well I tried, but is so dam hard when he has that smirk on. But i couldn't help feeling self conscious that I had mud on my butt or something like that.

He shook his head " Nothing....." He said looking in to my eyes like he had discovered a secret I didn't know about.

I turned back around and carried on talking to Silver. Luckily she had brought her earphones and her phone so we listened to some my chemical romance all the way back.
