"Go Sabers!" The whole cheer squad including me, chants.

It's our first game this Winter and I'm nervous.

Even though this is the only other school that plays during winter, we all still seem excited.

"The Sabers are doing great," I whisper to Amanda.

Our school's mascot is the Saber tooth Tiger and we're basically the only school I know of, that uses an animal that doenst exist anymore for our mascot.

We do always get shit about it, but they soon kept their mouths shut after we won the Year cup.

Luckily for us, the Year cup is only next sumer, which gives our football players plenty of time to practice.

"Why does our school always have the hotter cheerleaders," I hear Jake, one of Xander's friend say.

I'm wearing the school's cheer outfit with a Saber on it.

"Can't believe Jessica made us wear last year's cheer outfit, they're short," Michelle says next to me.

"She said that the outfit didn't change and luckily for you, you're short," I laugh.

"Mine isn't as short as yours," Amanda says.

"Yes, because you bought yours this year and Michelle didn't grow as much," I tell Amanda.

"I heard that," Michelle mumbles.

When the game meets the half time mark, all the guys sit near the benches.

I quickly sneak behind the bleachers and sneak towards the benches.

"Great job," I say and kiss Lucas on his cheek.

"Thanks, but the Grizzlies are tough," he sighs.

"I brought your water," I say and hand it to him.

"Thanks, love," he grins and takes a sip.

My stomach flips at the word love and I'm pretty sure I'm blushing all over again.

"Hey! What are you doing here, get back to your little cheerleaders!" I hear the coach shout at me.

My eyes wide at him catching me and I don't move.

"I said go!" He shouts again.

"Catch you later and remember I'm cheering just for you," I whisper in Lucas' ear and peck his lips, before going back to Amanda and Michelle.

"I saw the way coach shouted at you," Amanda laughs.

"You didn't even go to say hi to Dom," I shoot back.

"Yeah, that coach hates me too much," she nervously laughs.

"Okay girls, half time is over and it's Showtime!" Jessica yells, clapping her hands.

We all get into position as the Football team takes their places on the Field.

This is the only time that the cheerleaders actually get a shot at being important.

The other team's cheerleaders also get in potion.

The other team is about to go first and we al await in anticipation.

When they're about to make the Pyramid, one of the girls slip and does a tumble instead. Luckily for them, not much people seemed to notice.

When it's our turn, my palms are starting to sweat and I'm taking deep breaths.

When I spot Lucas on the field, he grins and gives me a thumbs up.

"Three"

"Two."

"One."

"Sabers are good! Sabers are great! Better than the Grizzlies! Any day!" We cheer as we do our practiced routine.

When we successfully do the Pyramid and I'm on top I see Lucas and his grin is bigger than anything.

"Go Sabers, Go Lucas!" I shout and then do a tumble. Jessica, May and Nancy successfully catch me and I'm on my feet again.

The Football team cheers for us and we cheer back.

The whistle goes off and the match continues.

When the match ends and I realized that we won. I run on the field towards Lucas and directly into his arms.

He picks me up and places me on his shoulder and just then it strated to lightly rain.

Cheers were heard from everywhere due to our win.

When Lucas puts me on my feet, I peck his lips and congratulate him on their win.

By now the the rain has started to get harder.

"Let's go get changed and go for some ice cream!" He shouts over the rain and we run towards the bench, grabbing our bags and running towards the car.
