"So, what do you all bring to the table?" Virgil asked with a raised eyebrow, surveying the five who faced him. Beginning heroes, ones who still had that youthful glow and that twinkle in their eyes, ones who had not yet been broken by what the world had to offer them. Virgil had been told to supervise them, join their team, even though he had only been in the hero industry for a year.

"I lie and manipulate people to a vicious extent. Along with the fact that I don't let my feelings get in the way." Janus, the hero who had been dubbed 'The Shapeshifter', told Virgil with a sly smirk playing on his lips. He had been dubbed that because he didn't show up to any job in the same outfit or face, often wearing a mask or dramatizing his features with make-up. Virgil nodded, turning slightly to face the next one.

"I can use anti-gravity, plus I know several forms of martial arts and have a strong sense of morals." Patton, the hero who had been dubbed 'The Sweetheart', replied to Virgil, flashing a cheerful smile. He had been dubbed that because of his refusal to seriously injure villains, along with the fact that he tried to make sure his jobs affected as little of the surrounding civilization as possible. Virgil grimaced and turned to the next hero.

"I control light! And I know how to fight, of course!" Roman, the hero who had been dubbed 'The Prince', said to Virgil pompously. He had been dubbed that because of his prince-like and heroic tendencies, along with the fact that a part of his hero costume was a crown. He was the most arrogant of all of them and Virgil was certain that one day that would be the hero's downfall. He gave a roll of his eyes and then looked to the next hero.

"Ayo, I can talk to and control most animals, sometimes humans if they're crazy enough!" Remus, the hero who had been dubbed 'The Trash-Man', said with an insane gleam in his eye, smiling sharply. He was called that because he tended to only control animals typical people find gross, such as rats. He and Janus had been in a long-term relationship for a couple of years, they often partnered together on assignments. Virgil stifled a gag and turned to the next hero with curiosity on his face.

"I make good life decisions." The tall, black-haired, glasses-wearing male told Virgil and Virgil scoffed. This was the only one he had been unsure of, and it looks like he had been right to be. Logan merely pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose.

"That's not a superpo--" Virgil began, ready to kick this guy off the team already when Patton turned, smiling up at the unknown hero cheerfully. Virgil groaned inaudibly. He couldn't kick the guy off if he was important to the sweetheart hero, he'd have a lawsuit on his hands.

"No, trust me, he's our most important member," Roman said dryly with a roll of his eyes and Virgil raised an eyebrow. "He really isn't, we don't have horrible habits," Janus added, his slightly forked tongue slipping through his lips and Remus nodded.
