This is my first time writing DDLB, so y'know, I'm sorry if it isn't that good-
So, Patton had a secret. It wasn't a bad secret, and it certainly wasn't one that would hurt any of the other sides, but Patton just didn't really want them to know. He was half-embarrassed, half-scared of what they would say if they found out. If they found out that he was a little. Of course, he didn't want to think bad of any of the other sides, especially his dark strange son or Logan, but it couldn't be helped. Patton giggled to himself, shaking those thoughts off as he continued to color.
"Patton, Virgil wanted to know where the cookies are-" Logan began, walking into the room after he had knocked and received no answer. He felt his mouth drop open when he saw Patton, who was dressed in light blue overalls and a white, long-sleeved shirt. He had a pacifier in his mouth and there was a coloring book with various crayons laid around it, along with a sippy cup that appeared to be filled with... Orange juice?
"Lolo!" Patton gasped excitedly, the pacifier falling out of his mouth. It hung from his overalls. He dropped his crayon and toddled over to Logan. Logan forced his mouth to close and could feel heat rushing to his cheeks, especially when Patton latched onto his leg and hugged it happily.
"...Well, hi there, little one," Logan mumbled quietly, the pet name coming instinctively. He crouched down to Patton's level, the latter being on his knees. Patton giggled and smiled playfully, showing his teeth.
"Hi Lolo, dada! You wanna color wif mwe?" He asked in excitement and Logan was so distracted by his sweet smile that he almost didn't notice what Patton had called him. Almost. Did... Did Patton just call me 'dada'? Wait... Didn't I read something about this? Littlespace, I think it was called?
"Yes, sure I would love to color with you." He replied, distracted. Logan was trying to remember everything he'd previously learned through memorization. Patton clapped in excitement and tugged Logan to his coloring table.
"Patton, can you tell me how old you are right now?" Logan asked cautiously, beginning to color when all Patton did was pout at him. The little immediately broke out into a smile again and answered him.
"I's thwee!" Patton giggled, holding up three fingers. Logan smiled gently at him. He stuck his pacifier back in his mouth after he yawned, blinking sleepily. Logan scooted closer to him and Patton leaned his head on the taller's shoulder.
"Look's like it's someone's nap time, hm?" Logan asked softly and Patton yawned again. Logan stood up, picking up the shorter side bridal-style and carrying him to his bed. He set him down on the bed gently. Patton whined when Logan tried to leave, clinging to him like a koala.
"Sweep wif me! Dada Lolo, pwease!" Patton pouted (alliteration- 👌😌). Logan sighed before taking off his glasses and Patton's own, setting them on the nightstand. He climbed into bed and Patton snuggled right up to him, causing the typically logical male's face to flush.
Okay but this is sweet and wholesome and if I want to (if y'all like it), I may make a part two with Patton in big headspace, just clearing things out.
