A Familar Face

it was early december and it was inching closer and closer to christmas time. the closer the dates struck the more faith left y/n's eyes. christmas is meant to be spent with loved ones, you decorate, ice skate, christmas carol, bake those cruddy cookies in those packages and Jack was all the way in LA. to make things worse his family already had plans to go away for christmas so it's not like he could visit any time soon.

Y/n huffed as she woke up, her phone letting off the obnoxious noise of pure demon music, otherwise the classic i phone alarm... it scared every tired teenager to the core. Y/n quickly shut it off, rubbing the cozy sleepiness away from her eyes as she grumbled. She had been up all night on facetime with jack, oh yeah... time zones. time zones were another big issue of the relationship, mostly for Y/n. LA and a beautiful curly headed boy we're keeping her away from her proper sleeping time.

As y/n got out of bed she opened the old dresser doors, pulling out some legging and a random t shirt, not too worried about her monday outfit.. i mean who cares what she looks like anyways? who's she going to impress? her boyfriend that lives all the way in california?!?
Y/n brushed out her messy hair of any knots and nags before heading downstairs for breakfast, turning on the kettle and making some mushy old maple and cinnamon oat meal, clicking on the tv to watch something random.

as it inched closer and closer to 8:00 y/n rushed to finish her bowl o' mush, eating it all down as fast as she could before pulling on her black puff jacket, totally forgetting the tv on and shoving her feet into her boots.

TS- School

Y/n walked off the bus chiming a quiet
"thank you" like every other student getting off. school was quiet hard this year, y/n had struggled a lot with finding true friends and picking out the ones that tried using her for 'clout'. i mean any normal person would be a little tempted too i mean you didn't have a lot of followers compared to jack.. but quite a lot for being a celebrities girlfriend. you exactly had 195k. there came a lot of jealously when your relationship became public, jack and y/n had decided to make it official since so many rumours had been spread across from fan account to fan account from tik tok theorist to the other. but surprisingly there was a lot of love compared to his last public relationships. jack and y/n made tons of tik toks together when you could, doing stupid dances and such.

but your relationship got a lot more complicated recently. you weren't kids anymore you weren't 14 anymore. you were 16 and jack was 17 and the long distance struggle was getting harder and harder to over come.

your mind raced over everything as you walked through the hall before coming to a halt. you slammed right into something, being knocked back right on your butt. a few people starred in shock and a few in judgment before carrying on walking. embarrassment filled y/n's face as you look up, still trying to catch the breath that was knocked out of you, it was a boy. their hand reached down to help you up, you quickly taking it.
"god i'm so sorry! i was just all in my head i wasn't looking!"
you rambled, the guy only chimed in with a laugh.
"hey it's no problem really" he waved his hand.
y/n rubbed her neck, nodding.

"hey you look familiar... your names y/n right?"
you stared blankly at his green eyes... you recognize him from somewhere but you can put your finger on it.

"yeah..." you nodded slowly in reply, eyes squinted.
"recognize me?" the blondie gave y/n a strange look.

"i think so.."
"well i'm chris, chris richards"
he held out his hand which you awkwardly shake.
"me myself and i?" you only reply which he chuckled a bit.
"yes indeed, i'm jacks friend"
you gasp and let a big grin grow on your face.
"oh my god! i use to watch that show all the time! you look so different holy-"

"ah yes.. jack told me you use to be a big fan" he teased and put his hands on each side of his face.
you cover your eyes in embarrassment remembering what type of crazy fan you were.

the bell rang for first period, you slung your purple back pack over your shoulder, hiking it up.
"oh shoot- i need to get to class i have a english test today" you mutter.
"i'll walk you" chris replied, you nodded.
"sounds good to me".

A/N do i sense some drama going down between Y/n and one of jacks friends?!
