Kenma POV:

Lev helped me lug Kuroo to the car and after much hassle we got him in the seat and buckled up. He continued to switch between his hyena laugh, and full on sobbing, claiming he'd forgotten to to feed his fish at one point.

Kuroo didn't have a pet fish.

I wanted to get him to his house as fast as possible so after thanking Lev yet again, I set off.

I reached around the halfway point when out of nowhere behind me a spectacular display of red, white,  and blue lights began to flash.

Well shit.

I pulled over carefully and quickly realized I didn't have my license or anything else as this was also not my car.

Okay, it's fine,  I just gotta keep calm. I found my chest becoming tight and looked over at Kuroo who'd passed out, now completely asleep. I took a deep breath before unrolling the window.
"Good evening officer."

"License and registration please." He had started to scribble something on his clipboard not looking up at me.

"Officer if I may explain." I sat, my head facing him, hands on the steering wheel. This time he looked over his glasses unamused but seeming as though he'd listen to what I had to say.

"Sir, my friend here," I pointed to Kuroo in the seat by me. "This is his car, a-and we are on our way back from a party. As you can see there was no way he could drive, and even if he could I wouldn't have let him. So anyway, this is his car and I, uhm I don't, don't have my license or anything with me. It was stupid, but I had no clue he'd be drinking and if I had, then of course I would have brought my license."

"Stop rambling kid." He officer put his clipboard by his side and looked at me.

"Step out of the car, please."

I felt sick to my stomach.

"If you would please just walk along the line on the road."

I walked in a perfectly straight line.

"Alright I'm gonna assume you haven't been drinking. Is that correct?"

"Yes sir. I don't drink."

"Alright well I appreciate you being a designated driver, however you were going 60 in a 45. For that reason, I'm giving you a ticket and a warning. Next time please carry what you may find yourself needing in this situation and please get your friend home safely."

"Yes officer. Of course, sir. Thank you"
I really felt like throwing up now.

The officer handed me the ticket and I got back into the vehicle. You dumbass, I thought looking over at Kuroo. This time setting off slower, I continued to Kuroos house.

I was shaking and felt quite god-awful. We made it to his house when the next task presented itself.

How was I supposed to get Kuroo inside?
There was no way I could carry him. Still, I had been working out more lately, so maybe.

I attempted to wake him but that was hopeless. Instead, I unbuckled him and tried carrying him like Lev did. That didn't work either, so I tried a sort of piggyback tactic.

We ended up getting about halfway up the sidewalk to his house before I felt him slipping off my back. I didn't want him to hit his head, so I grabbed him by the wrists to ensure that when he fell only his butt would really hit the pavement.

For the other half of the journey we struggled our way up by me dragging him by the wrists, most likely wrecking his tight-fitting pants.

I rang the doorbell, praying his father would still be up. Thankfully he was. Upon seeing the mess of a son Kuroo was, he started laughing very hard.
It's clear Kuroo gets his manic laugh from his fathers side.

"Oh you poor thing, Kenma." He said still laughing and pulling Kuroo into the house.

I was out of breath and exhausted both mentally and physically.
We decided against getting him upstairs and instead his father set up the pull-out bed in the living room before switching off the tv. He removed Kuroos shoes and offered me a clean shirt which I happily took, because the one I was wearing had started to absolutely wreak.

Once all of that had been sorted out, he walked out the room saying
"Just call me if you need anything!" I wanted to ask where I'd sleep but he had already left.

I decided I was going to spend the night as I didn't have my house key and thought against waking my mom up.

Welp, I thought. I can go upstairs to Kuroos room and risk him needing my help or I can get on the couch bed with him. I was embarrassed just thinking about the possibility of his father coming in on us sleeping together, but I didn't really have much other choice.

I grabbed some pillows from the couch and divided the bed into two before curling up on the opposite side to Kuroo and having my back to him.

Having been absolutely exhausted after the worlds longest day ever, I managed to sleep almost the whole night, waking around 9:30 in the morning.

I had forgotten where I was for a second before I jogged my memory of what had happened. I tried to sit up but was stopped by something.
I yawned and opened my eyes to see sun beaming through the window in the living room.

Oh right. I remembered.

I tried yet again to sit up but something blocked me again. I flipped the blanket off me to find Kuroo's right leg pinning me down. I shoved it off and finally sat up, a bit embarrassed that my pillow wall had failed.

Looking over, I saw Kuroos father sat in a lazy-boy, sipping some coffee.

"Morning."

"I-, uh..."

He laughed, "Its fine, this morning Kuroo had you locked in a hug, so I figured I'd help you out a bit."

"Oh.. uhm thank you." I got out of the bed and stood up, looking at Kuroo who was still knocked out.

"We need to wake him up. He's probably really dehydrated at this point."

"Right. I'll go get some water."

"Wait Kenma, do you happen to know what he had?"

I tried to remember how many shot glasses I saw and estimated he'd had probably 2 solo cups of beer on top of that.

"Uhm I think he had around 6 shots, Jell-O shots, and probably 2 cups of beer? Like the red solo cups. Two of those."

"Well clearly he can't handle his alcohol." His father said rolling his eyes.

I went to go grab Kuroo a glass of water but nearly dropped it on my way back due to his father creating a cow whistle sound in Kuroos face.

Kuroo screamed, sitting up fast.
I approached him as he pressed his palms against his forehead in agony.
"Ouch..."

"Here Kuroo." I handed him a glass of water. "Drink it slower this time."
He looked puzzled.

"What happened?"

"Oh I'll show you later. Just know I have so much blackmail material of you now."

"You know Kuroo, you better hang onto Kenma. You would have been screwed last night without his help."

Kuroo looked over at me in pain, "Right. Yeah, thank you Kenma." His voice was deep and groggy and his eyes still only half open. I forced a slight smile, "Do we have any Advil? Or something?" He asked his father.

I guess he'd completely forgotten about everything that had happened, though there was still text messages and video that proved him guilty.
