She Taught Me How to LOVE

Chapter 22

Amber’s POV

Arson moved in on Sunday and it was currently Friday. I was sitting in fourth period not paying attention to the teacher. “So college how are you guy’s doing on that?” Everyone in the class straightened up including me. “Come on guys it’s senior year you should be sending out applications.” I forgot about that with me being with Arson and all. “Raise your hand if you have sent in an application for a school.” A few people raised their hands and the teacher shook his head. “Well think about it times running out.” The bell rang signaling the start of lunch. I fell like a lifeless person walking down the hall deep in thought about the future and jumped when Lily and Matt both hip bumped me. The two laughed as I rubbed my sides where they bumped me.

“Ow”

“Sorry you just looked like you were lost so we wanted to find you.” Lily said.

“Found you” I glared at Matt as he spoke laughing.

“Well thanks for the matching bruises you two.”

“You welcome.” I glared at both of my friends before joining them along and smiling. Lily started talking about a movie night we could do tonight and I spaced out again. When we entered the cafeteria we saw a circle forming around two people who were shouting at each other.

“What’s going on?” I ask Matt.

“I don’t know must be two idiotic people getting in a fight.” He shrugged I just nodded and kept walking to our table. I then heard Jake's name being yelled and I turned around to try to see the two people fighting. I can’t seem to find a way to see the people fighting so I look at the cafeteria entrance to see Arson and the other four walking in. He looks around the lunchroom till his eyes land on me. He smiles and then looks concern when he sees I don’t smile back.

“Hey what’s wrong?” Arson says hugging me and kissing my forehead.

“Some people are about to fight and I heard Jake’s name but I can’t see.” He turns around to see the fight accumulating and nods grabbing my hand. I’m awed when the students surrounding part letting Arson through with out trouble not like me. We make it to the middle and see Jake and some other sophomore shouting at each other. The other guy takes a punch at Jake and the fight begins while people shout out sides. “Arson you have to stop this he can’t get hurt.”

“Oh come on Amber let the boy have some fun.” He said with amusement crossing his arms.

“Arson please.” He groans before nodding his head.

“Fine but you’re going to get it latter.” I don’t have a chance to ask what he meant because he steps to the front. Everyone gasps and watches Arson step into the circle looking at the two fighting. He grabs Jake by the back of his shirt pulling him off the other kid. Jake is surprised and glares at Arson. “Shows over clear the scene go.” Everyone immediately starts to move away and Jake still glares at Arson.

“What the hell man?” I look over at Jake and hear Arson chuckle. “You think this is funny?”
