Amber’s POV

You know when you make a New Year resolution and you want to keep it but somehow it always ends up being the last thing you think about. That’s how I feel at this moment I feel like I’m living my last moments as they pass me in a blur with no excitement. I stare at my locker for about 10 minutes after the final bell on Friday, the third week of January to be exact, ended the last of the classes. “You know this is how I found you when you received your first detention.” Arson whispers in my ear hugging me from behind. “You were worried about your future being full of crimes so what are you thinking about this time.”

“I don’t know?”

“What do you mean you don’t know?” I turn to look at him his face confused. I mostly spent my time with Arson at his apartment or at my house watching movies and I felt as if the relationship between us seemed boring to him. Before I could think of the words coming out of my mouth they came out.

“Do you think I’m boring?” My question took him by surprised because he raised his eyebrows and his mouth opened up slightly.

“Why are you asking me that?” I frowned at him because he tried to dodge my question.

“Arson just answer.” He came closer to me and moved a strand of hair that was in my face behind my ear.

“No Amber I do not think your boring.” I frowned deeper because I knew that he was lying to me. “Stop frowning Amber, please.” His tone pleading with me and I still kept the frown on my face. He blew out a breath “Okay why do you think you’re boring?”

“Because we don’t do anything but watch movies and sit around I feel as if were not happy.”

“Hey, I’m happy.”

“No you’re not Arson I mean you used to hang out with Hale and them now I…”

“You do nothing but make me happy.”

“Arson.”

“Amber.” I groaned and hit my head against the locker only to have it pushed into a strong chest. “You are not boring I don’t know what the hell got into your mind that made you think you were boring.”

“Arson look me in the eye and tell me you don’t miss doing your previous activities.” I muffled into his chest and he grabbed my chin tilting my face up to meet his eyes.

“Amber, I do not miss sleeping around if that’s what you mean.” He said his tone completely serious.

“No, I mean the other stuff.”

“What other stuff.” He raised an eyebrow.

“You know.”

“No Amber I seriously don’t know what you’re talking about.”
