"Really? We've resorted to this?" I asked as we ducked outside of Hagrid's window.

"Embry, if you want them to get taken down, we need to get our hands dirty. We saw them come here, and we know it has something to do with a dragon. With any luck, we'll get that oaf thrown out of here as well." Draco stated

"If you say so." I huffed as I brushed the dirt off my shoe.

Draco pulled his head up to look through the window, and his mouth seemed to drop to the ground.

"Em. Dragon!" He said, barely holding in his excitement.

"What?!" I exclaimed as I pulled myself up to see.

The minute I looked in the window, I knew we had gotten them. I heard Weasley exclaim that the dragon on the table was a Norwegian Ridgeback, and those weren't allowed at Hogwarts. No dragons were, and now they were helping their precious groundskeeper break the rules. As I was watching the dragon strut around the table, I saw Hagrid turn towards the window and all the color drain from his face.

"Run." I hissed as I grabbed Draco by the arm.

We booked it as fast as we could back to the castle. I managed a quick look behind us, and saw their whole crew watching us run. We had been caught, but that didn't matter. They couldn't hide the dragon anymore, and now it was just a matter of time before we made a plan to get them caught.

"They're so dead!" Draco laughed when we got back to the common room. "Let's tell Snape."

"Wait. They'll have left by now, and we need to make sure they're there before we tell him. If we tell him now, the only person who will get in trouble is Hagrid, and as much fun as that would be, I'd rather see Potter get taken down."

      "More waiting?" He whined.

"It won't be much longer. Dragons don't stay small for long, so they'll have to make a plan soon. When they do, we'll be ready to stop them. For now, we just have to keep an eye on things."

And so we did. Another waiting game, but I knew it would be worth it. One thing about Slytherins is they're ambitious, and that's true for Draco and me. As the week edged on, we finally got our second breakthrough at the sight of Potter taking Weasley to the hospital wing, his hand almost 3 times its normal size.

"Go ask him to borrow a book for his class, but just taunt him and see if you can get anything else out of him." I told Draco later that day.

      "What, why me?" He grumbled.

"Because I don't feel like it. Besides, don't you want to get him back for your black eye?"

This changed his mind, and he marched happily down the hospital wing, eager to rub it in Weasleys face. I threw myself onto the couch in the common room as Daphne took her seat next to me.

"What are you and Draco up too?" She laughed.

"Oh nothing, just harmless pranks."

"Getting back at the people who gave you black eyes?" She asked.

I still hadn't told her Pansy and Millicent had been responsible for mine. Daphne was genuinely a nice person, but I would be scared for the person who got on her bad side. If she ever knew, our room would become a war zone, and as much fun as that would be, I decided against it.

"Half of them." I joked.

"Guess who I saw today!" She rang happily.

      "Let me guess, Nott?"
