Karasuno ended up winning in the fifth set. "Come on, I want to catch Teru before he gets on the bus to go back." I tell my friends as the teams shake hands underneath the net. Impatiently, I get up to head down the stairs. We end up waiting outside the gym for about ten minutes before members of the Jozenji team come filing out. I spot his blonde hair and make my way towards him. "Teru!" I call. His eyes are on his phone but as soon as he hears my voice, his head snaps up, a smile crossing his gorgeous face. He closes the distance between us by walking over to where I stand which is close to the doors of the girls' gym. Prior, I moved slightly away from my friends so I could have a moment alone with him before introducing them. "Hey, Hua," he smirks, embracing me in a huge hug. I giggle as he rocks us back and forth. "Coach said we're gonna leave in like ten minutes so I have until then to grace you with my company." "I think it's the other way around," I smile up at him. When I look up, my eyes meet his dark ones and I catch them looking at my lips. A blush crawls onto my cheeks. He catches this and leans down to connect our lips for as long as he can get away with it before my embarrassment of our blatant PDA gets the best of me. "It's only been two weeks, but I miss you so much," he tells me after a few seconds. My cheeks burn at the public display of affection and the butterflies in my stomach are going crazy. "I miss you too. But luckily we're seeing each other in a week," I remind him. He smiles, pecking my lips again before throwing his arm around my shoulder. I take this as my opportunity to lead him over to Mya and Karina who act as though they were oblivious to the romantic gesture happening a couple feet away from them. "Guys this is Terushima. Terushima this is my best friend Mya and my new friend Karina." "It's very nice to meet you." He introduces politely, taking turns to shake both of their hands. "That was a good game!" Mya tells him enthusiastically. This opens up the conversation about the game, allowing me to tell my boyfriend that he played amazingly as usual. He thanks me with a kiss on the head and talks about how he wishes they would have won before adding that he plans to crush us next time. After a couple more minutes of talking, a few of his teammates have begun to head for the exit doors which catches Terushima's attention. "It looks like we're about to leave," he tells me with a pouty face. I return the gesture by sticking my bottom lip out, mirroring his cute face. His mouth then turns into a smile. It disappears in a second as he reaches to grab his bag. "Oh shit, I think I left my shoes in the locker room. I'm gonna have to go get them." "I can wait for you." I offer. He shakes his head before wrapping me in a hug. "Don't worry about it. I'm gonna leave right after anyway. I'll call you later?" He asks, his dark eyebrows raising. I smile and nod. His lips part and his teeth show as he smiles back at me. "Don't forget," I tell him. He rolls his eyes playfully and leans in to kiss me again. I can't help but smile into it before he pulls away to run back into the gym. "I won't! I promise." He winks as he disappears back through the gym door. I sigh contently as I turn back to my friends. My happiness from the encounter lingers in my next words, "You guys ready to get some food?"
