Annabella~The elf-human warrior (Kili)

Chapter 6~sharing a room...

I made my way up the stairs with my weapons and bag, and I was not sure which room kili was in, I then stood still in shock as kili walked out of what I guessed was the bathroom, WITHOUT A SHIRT ON!

He didn't see me at first, I was shellshocked by the muscular chest and arms, I sort of subconsciously stared, he then looked up at me when he noticed me, he cheekily winked and said "our room is here" he said as he pointed to the door opposite him

I smiled and walked in, I noticed his weapons were actually quite neatly laid out, "wow, you seem quite organised for a young dwarf" I said surprised, he laughed and said "thanks, Thorin can't stand it if were messy or disorganised because then it takes us forever to gather our things in the morning"

"Ah I see" I responded as I left my weapons neatly by kili's, I put my sword down next to his and he admired the beautiful engravings "this is an amazing sword" he said, "thankyou, my father gave it to me when I was 12" I told him

I then swiftly removed the two smaller swords that I carried on my back and my other various daggers

I stood still, I didn't really know what to do or say, kili was changing his shirt, thinking about the way he looked without it was really all that was on my mind I won't lie!

I decided to just remove my hair from the braid it was in and brush though it, I took my beautiful hairbrush and pulled it through my long blonde hair, kili turned around to me and said "you have lovely hair" he told me as he smiled sweetly at me

I found myself wildly blushing again and I said "th-thankyou", I continued to brush through it before I put it back into my bag

I turned around to see kili had sat on the floor leaning his back against the bed, I stood awkwardly for a moment, he patted the spot on the floor next to him

I went and sat near him, there was a considerable amount of space between us as I didn't really want him to know I had these "feelings" for him, I didn't really know what they meant after all

He shuffled himself closer to me and asked "so you're half elf and half human?" He asked, I said back "yeah, my mothers an elf from rivendell and my father was an excellent human warrior" kili smiled and replied "wow that's pretty cool" he looked up at me again with this expressions on his face, like half smiling and half admiring if that made sense, the way he looked me just drive me crazy

I was getting slightly more comfortable in the conversation

K-kili

A-so you're a good archer too, I've been told

K-yeah, I'm not bad, but when I asked the others if they thought id be as good they laughed and said you were much more of an accurate shot

A-well from what I've heard you're not too bad yourself

K-well you can just wait until we meet our first obstacle on the quest and then you'll probably see me 'in action'

I laughed at the way he said "in action" making these quotation marks with his hands

"Well I look forward to it" I told him slightly giggling, kili was really easy to talk to, he was funny and we had a lot in common as people thought

"We should probably get some sleep, I'll warn you thorin is not fond of resting during the day on journeys so we will be doing a lot of exercise" kili explained

I nodded but after a second of thinking I had to ask "umm where should I sleep?" I felt slightly uncomfortable and awkward asking kili chuckled and said "the beds big" he shot me a cheeky wink

I laughed and nodded, I just found everything about kili so attractive, the sexy stubble he had, the tangled dark hair, his mesmerising eyes, his glowing white teeth and soft lips, his sense of humour and not to mention his body, I was still thinking back to the moment when he walked out of the bathroom, I guess he had just washed his face or something

I had already taken off my cloak and shoes when I came into the room

Kili threw himself onto the large bed causing me to chuckle slightly "be careful you'll break it" I laughted, he laughed too and said "nah we built these beds to suffice for bomber, I'm sure it won't" I giggled at his reference to the dwarfs weight and went in and lay next to him

I wanted to make conversation as we settled down into bed (controversial hahaha😂) so it was less awkward, but luckily kili beat me to it so I didn't need to think of anything to say

"So what do you think of my idiot of a brother?" He asked smiling, I laughed at the way he said it and responded "yeah he's very nice, he's not that much of an idiot" "no he is!" Kili protested, "oh come on kili he's really funny and he was only teasing you earlier, you could expect nothing else he's your brother!", what kili said next really surprised and amused me "oh you know what I mean he's my brother and I love him but he can sometimes, often be a complete fucking twat" he said

I burst out into laughter and nodded as I understood what he meant, he seemed very embarrassed earlier after fili teased him constantly

After our laughter had settled kili said "well thorin probably will have sent dwalin out to check everyone's settled down and he won't leave without a cheeky comment I can guarantee"

That gave me a thought and I asked him "obviously you and fili are very close and thorin has a bit of a soft spot for you two, but what about all of the dwarves, are you all close friends?"

he thought for a moment and then said "well we all get along obviously and we all have a close trustworthy protective relationship, but we all spend so much time together that were hound to get annoyed at eachother's habits", "like what?" I asked curiously "well, like bombers snoring, dwalins short temper and of course the one that gets to me the most is-" I cut him off and finished the sentence "-fili constantly teasing you!"

"Yep you guessed it!" Kili laughed, "do you look up to the other dwarves wrong as you're the youngest?" I asked , "well thorins like a father to me, and of course I look up to fili, but out of the others, really dwalin is one of my influences, out of all the other dwarves he is probably the most trusted or respected by my uncle, and one of the best warriors, so yeah dwalin I suppose" he explained

Just before I could respond there was the sound of the door opening, as expected dwalin popped his head around the door and said "ahh I see you two are getting rather cosy then" he winked, kili sighed in frustration and shot me a look as if to say 'see?'

He looked at dwalin and said "we had to share a room and there's one bed, did you expect one of us to sleep on the floor?" Dwalin laughed shot me a cheeky smile before mocking us saying "sleep well, lovebirds" as he left and shut the door behind him

"Ahh I see what you mean now" I said to kili and he nodded in agreement, "we'd better get some sleep then" kili said, I nodded and kili turned the lamp off

We were facing eachother, not too close together though, I watched kilis chocolate eyes shut as he fell asleep peacefully and I quickly drifted off...
