"Leo, didn't I tell you to repeat that in English?" Percy asks, as Leo tries to lecture Percy, Annabeth, Hazel, Frank, Piper, and Jason on the prototype of something he had found in the jungle in Bunker 9.

"I did repeat it in English," Leo replies.  "That was the simpler version of it."

"Say it again?" Percy asks.  "I may grasp it the third time."

"Knowing you, Seaweed Brain, I honestly doubt it," Annabeth whispers to Percy, giggling.

"Well, do you get it, Wise Girl?" Percy asks.

"In fact, I do," Annabeth says.

"Well, you're the only one then," Jason says.

"Hey, don't be disappointed in yourselves for not understanding something like this," Leo says.  "After all, it does take somebody with double digit IQ to grasp this knowledge perfectly."

"Actually, Valdez, I have over 120 IQ and don't understand a single thing about this," Frank says, leaning back into his chair and folding his arms.

"I dunno where you got that information from, but it was obviously from a false source," Leo says, shaking his head.

"Will y'all just shut up and let the man explain it again?" Piper asks.  "Leo, please keep the explanation under 5 minutes if you will."

"I'll see what I can do, Pipes," Leo says, holding up a small dragon skull.  "So, once when I was strolling through the woods, I found papers strewn all around the ground and this little thing.  Most of the papers were written in the strangest language I've ever seen.  Here, take a look."

Leo takes a sheet of paper out of his pocket.  He held it out for the other demigods to see.  It was filled top to bottom with lines upon lines of emojis and symbols.

"Is that some kind of code?" Percy asks.

"I don't know, but this has gotta mean something," Leo says.  "Amongst the papers, I found some blueprints."

Leo takes out another sheet of paper out of his tool belt, unfolds it, and holds it out for the other demigods to see.  It was a diagram of dragon skull in Leo's hands.  The skull's eye sockets had glowing light blue orbs in them though and the skull's jaw was wide open.  There were little labels with pointers pointing to various parts of the skull, but they were in the same strange language of emojis and symbols.

"Here's what I've deduced so far," Leo says.  "2 sheets of paper are actually copies of 1 sheet.  1 of them is in this weird language and the other is in English!  So, I've managed to roughly translate these blueprints with the help of Annabeth.

"Apparently, this thing is supposed to be a blaster," Leo says.  "In fact, these blueprints are titled 'gaster blaster'.  What it's supposed to do is fire a concentrated beam of energy withdrawn from an entity's soul.  In another sheet, a sentence declares that souls 'are a culmination of an entity's being.  It allows them to feel emotions, such as love, sadness, happiness, anger, etc.'  Other than that, I have no idea what these souls are."

"I think I kinda get it now," Percy says.  "So, it draws your life energy out to destroy stuff."

Leo taps his chin with a screwdriver that just appeared in his hand.

"Y'know, I could've just put it that way," Leo says.

"Wow Leo," Jason says.

"Anyways, if I can find a way to complete this, it might be an effective final-resort weapon," Leo says.

After he finishes that statement, demigods were starting to shout outside Bunker 9.

"A MONSTER HAS APPEARED IN FRONT OF CAMP!" somebody shouts.  "IT GOT PELEUS!"
