Sans's left eye instantly ignites in a light blue flame. Will, Connor, Maya, and Annabeth all jump at the spear hitting the seat. The other demigods, sitting in the bleachers or down on the playing field, start noticing the glowing light blue spear stuck in the seat. Their attention stays at it for a few minutes before someone down on the playing field points up at something in the sky. It was too high in the sky to be seen clearly, but it was descending and fast. Sans's eye sockets widen. He teleports to the field and brings up a wall of bones in front of a startled pitcher. Half a second later, a figure smashes into the wall of bones, nearly breaking through them with a glowing light blue spear.
The figure was dressed in full armor, save for their muscular blue arms, covered halfway by white gauntlets. They were holding their spear with both their hands, attempting to push the point of it through the tiny crack in Sans's wall of bones. All the demigods around pull out their weapons.
"Have you seen enough yet, Undyne?" a voice says from behind her.
A flower with golden petals and white center pops out from behind Undyne's shoulder. The flower smiles darkly at Sans's expression to seeing him, which was something between malice and bloodlust.
"He's protecting a bunch of puny children!" the flower croons. "Human children at that! Our worst enemies!"
"impossible," Sans says.
"Not quite so, comedian," Flowey croons. "Dad's scientist had a lot of fun toys to play with! One of them just happened to have a certain function of revitalizing a soul."
"but undyne's soul was destroyed when the human k-"
"But you never saw her soul crack, have you?" Flowey asks, cutting in.
Sans's eye sockets darken."Sans the skeleton," Undyne says, her voice loud and authoritative. "Never thought I'd see our royal judge, the king's most trusted individual, being amongst and protecting a bunch of humans. Not killing a human upon sight goes against the edict King Asgore had put up when he was still alive. For that, I have the right to put you to death."
"you forgot the last part," Sans says. "the part where he declares the edict as nullified after the barrier is broken. which it is."
"Undyne, I sense souls here!" Flowey shrieks. "Four of them! Remember our plan! Don't let this smiley trashbag distract you. Finish him off quickly so we can start hunting for those souls! Every soul we get brings us one step closer to our goal! You will get what you want!"
Undyne just nods. She picks her spear out of Sans's wall of bones, raises it over her head, and stabs it down ward again, this time breaking right through the bones and causing a mini explosion.
"maya, connor, and will!" Sans shouts. "get everyone out of here! things are gonna get messy!"
"How about you?!" Maya shouts back.d
"i can fend for myself!" Sans shouts. "now go!"
Undyne stabs forward with her spear. Sans leans to the side, dodging the glowing blue point. He notices Undyne's kick just in time to teleport out of the way. Undyne slashes her spear in a wide circle, forcing Sans to jump back.
"That scarf around your neck," she growls, snapping her fingers. "You don't deserve to wear it. Papyrus would've never wanted such a traitorous brother."
Spears appear in the air above her, all pointed at Sans. They all shoot forward at Sans. He summons another wall of bones to block the incoming spears, but they break through in a matter of seconds. He teleports right in front of Undyne, startling her slight. He points at her, enveloping her in a light blue aura, and launches her high into the air, before slamming her back down into a wall of bones with a few bones. He materializes a few gaster blasters and fire them at her before she could peel herself off the wall of bones behind her.
