"Sans?" Leo asks, opening the door to Bunker 9. "Hello? You there?"
Leo walks in and looks around. It's completely silent and there's nobody to be seen.
"Capture the Flag is in 10 minutes!" Leo calls out, turning to leave Bunker 9. "Don't wanna be late for that!"
"coming, coming," Sans says from somewhere in the back. "just gimme a second."
"Alright," Leo says, closing the door.

"Who's that?" Maya asks, nuzzling closer into Sans's chest.
"leo," Sans says. "he's a friend of mine."
"Is he a demigod?" Maya asks.
"yep," Sans replies. "there are lots of demigods here."
"Are we in Camp Jupiter?" she asks.
"not camp jupiter, camp half-blood," Sans says. "though, a bunch of camp jupiter kids did come over today."
"Camp Jupiter is here? Does Reyna strike a bell?"
"yeah," Sans says. "she's still their leader."
"Thank the gods Octavian hadn't taken over yet," she mutters, sighing in relief. "Who's the other praetor?"
"frank zhang," Sans says.
"That burly guy from the Fifth Cohort? How the heck did he rise to praetor?"
"fifth cohort?"
"Oh right, you just got up here," Maya says. Up here on the surface. "I'll talk about it later. Didn't that Leo kid say you had something in 10 minutes? Capture the flag?"
"ughh, more war games," Sans says, pulling Maya off of him and standing up from the plush armchair.
"Have the other demigods try to kill you yet?" Maya asks.
"they did at first, but we're all friends now," Sans says. "i gotta get going now or i'll be late. wanna come?"
"I'll wait," Maya says, kissing Sans's temple. "I'm technically supposed to be dead. Bring me to Reyna afterwards, okay? Wouldn't want to shock her before war games."
"alright hun, i won't be gone for too long," Sans says, giving Maya a sweet kiss on the lips. "you have no idea how much i've missed you."
"Yeah yeah, now get going," Maya says, making a shoo gesture with her hand. "Have fun."
"one last thing, how's your soul?" Sans asks.
Maya holds out her hands. A glowing light green appears in it. It's cracked, but the cracks are slowly shrinking.
"I'll be fine," Maya says, giving Sans a reassuring smile. "Now go. I can take care of myself."
Sans teleports to the mess hall, right beside Reyna and Frank, who both nearly slice off his head.
"Well, I'm glad I won't have to get used to this anytime soon," Reyna says, sighing.
"I'm thinking of dragging Hazel back to Camp Jupiter with me," Frank says. "So I won't have to either."
"who wouldn't wanna stick around good ol' me?" Sans asks, chuckling. "anyways, i'm ready to bully some teenagers."
"So, Capture the Flag," Frank says. "Basically, you try to take the flag from the tens of dozens of other demigods who are guarding it."
"eh, can't be too hard," Sans says, shoving his hands into his pockets.
"Right, I'm gonna go make sure everybody has geared up," Frank says. "Annabeth has a flawless battle plan."
