As we pull onto the driveway I can't help but be at a loss of words. In the middle of the U shaped drive entry is a water fountain surrounded by bright red roses. I can see three people standing by the door and they look truly happy. If the stone house looks this beautiful outside I bet it is just as beautiful inside.
Eric was the first to get out when he shut the car off. He opened the door and helped Alex out but before he could make it to my side a little old lady with copper colored skin and brown doe eyes ran up to Eric and hugged him. What he did next was what shocked me.
He picked the little old lady up and spun her around and kissed her cheek before placing her back on the ground.
"Oh my dear sweet boy I have missed you. Welcome back home" She kissed him again on the cheek and his cheeks turned a rose color. He's blushing. He's so cute when he blushes. He looks over at me while I'm staring at him and that's when she noticed me.
"Oh my dear boy you brought a woman home with you?" She walked over to me and gave me a big hug. It was instinct to hug her back. Her small arms and sweet scent was so welcominging i almost didn't want to let her go. Being in her arms felt like I had my mother back.
