The alarm clock woke me up too early, and my brain screamed at me to crush it like a bug, then take a hammer to it's miserable remains. Just kidding. Although my hand slammed down on it repeatedly before it actually turned off...
I dragged myself into the shower after peeling off my clothes, turning it on and just letting the hot water flow over me. I was just standing there, scrubbing off the dirt, letting thoughts flow through my head, with my eyes half closed, when the full impact of the events yesterday hit me.
I fell down, arms scrambling for purchase, trying desperately to stop my fall. I hit the bottom with a thump, turning off the water when my hand hit the button thingy. Suddenly, I was wide awake, and clambered out of the shower, toweling off faster than you could say "Angel's in my house".
I wrapped the towel around myself and rushed out into the room. Angel was propped up on her shoulder, watching me amusedly.
"Soooo...Can I use your shower?" she asked. I narrowed my eyes at her.
I narrowed my eyes at her. "You. We need to talk."
"She looked pointedly at the clock. We had lost 20 minutes, leaving us with 40 minutes to get ready. I growled and pointed at the bathroom door.
"Clothes?"
I bit my tongue and threw a shirt and a pair of pants at her. We looked about the same size, and if she was bigger, well then, she could just suck it up.
She grinned at me, and I walked downstairs, peeled a tangerine, and started to write.

By the time Angel was done showering, we had about 5 minutes left and I was done writing. I threw something that looked like food at her, and she just looked at it as it flew at her, snatching it out of the air at the last second. She turned it over in her palm, and I could see her mentally calculating how many calories it contained, and I repressed the urge to just shove it into her mouth.
"Just eat it and sign this," I growled, shoving the paper and pen into her hands.
"Why?" she asked, looking it over. "What is it?"
"So many questions," I grumbled. But when she held it over the trash can, hands in the prime position to rip it, I blurted out, "It's just a document ensuring that nothing that was said in this house will be disclosed! Basically, a don't ask, don't tell sort of thing!"
Stupid emotional attachment.
She raised an eyebrow, but lifted the pen and signed the stupid thing. I grinned slyly. "Also, you're now my woman slave."
She put it back over the can, and I let out a little shriek. "Just kidding! Just kidding!" I got off of my seat, snatched the paper, and tucked it to my backpack. I was not chancing losing this somewhere. Not that it , want much, but it could be used in court if she ever went against it. I just needed a lawyer...
I shook my head and shrieked at the time. Shoving my boots on and pulling my jacket on, I hopped out of the door with my backpack half over my shoulder and a bewildered Angel in my wake.

"I am never riding on that death trap ever again!" Angel half shrieked, half proclaimed as I parked in school. All the way to school, she freaked out when we turned corners, gripping my stomach so tightly, I'm surprised she didn't turn out my stomach contents.
I rolled my eyes both at her and the amazed spectacle of people in front of us. They were staring. Hadn't they been taught that staring is rude? I took a deep breath and collected myself before doing anything. Raising my head haughtily, I marched to my group, and, once there, paused. Their faces demanded an explanation. Since Angel didn't read the contract fully, it had also prohibited me, Stacy May, from releasing the details of what happened yesterday. I shook my head slightly, and kept walking. They got the hint, and I heard them file in behind me as I waked into school.
