A/N: This is the end! Thankyou so much to everyone for reading my story, I hope everyone liked it!

Epilogue - 5th July 2012

Katy awoke with a start when her alarm began ringing right next to her head. Groaning, she rolled over sleepily and grabbed her phone, turning the alarm off and squinting at the time.

5:00 am.

Katy whimpered upon seeing the early hour, but as she woke up properly, she realised the reason for waking up so early and sat up excitedly.

"It's movie day!" she said to herself, jumping out of bed and running to the shower to start her action-packed day.

It was the day that Katy's movie, Part of Me, was being released all over America, and her morning was filled with countless interviews before attending the special premiere of the movie in the early afternoon.

Katy had spent hours and hours slaving over the production of Part of Me, making sure it was absolutely perfect and exactly the way she wanted it. It documented her whole year on tour, showed bits and pieces of her early life and her journey to becoming a popstar, and also included the heartbreaking moments of her year. Katy had struggled to watch some of the footage where she and Russell had been on the rocks, seeing herself crying and remembering back to those exact moments in her life was difficult, but she needed to include them.

She also had a small amount of footage from when she was pregnant, which she included as an introduction to a short video of her speaking into the camera, alone, about her miscarriage. Not wanting to go too in depth again, she kept it brief, but included the full, exclusive interview with Ellen in the 'extra features' section of the DVD, as it was the only interview she ever gave regarding the events of the first couple of months of 2012.

While showering, Katy thought about the journey she had been on over the last few months and realised just how lucky she had been, that she had such amazing friends and family around to help her get through what probably would be the toughest moments in her entire life. She was so excited to finally debut her movie today, the result of lots of dreaming and lots of hard work.

At 6 o'clock on the dot, Katy's team arrived. Todd started on her hair and makeup while Johnny got her outfit for all the interviews sorted and hung up her dress for the movie premiere in a safe spot. Tamra and Bradford made everyone coffee and sat down to talk while Katy finished getting ready.

An hour later, they were in the car on the way to the first interview, Katy gently bouncing up and down in the backseat with excitement and nerves for what the day would bring, while Tamra laughed at her.

"Katy, chill!" she joked, putting her hands on Katy's shoulders and pushing them down to stop her bouncing. Katy, unusually perky for seven o'clock in the morning, stuck her tongue out at Tamra childishly.

The morning was a whirlwind of interview after interview, and before Katy knew it, it was midday and she was heading back home to get ready for the premiere. Her family and closest friends all met at her house as they were all travelling to the venue to walk the red carpet together, Katy had insisted on that, saying that, "It's my movie and I want to walk down the red carpet surrounded by the people I love the most."

Once arriving at the venue, she took a deep breath before exiting the car, immediately being bombarded by cheers and people screaming her name. A huge smile crossed her face and she waved at her fans, heading over to sign some autographs. As she moved along the red carpet, she posed for what felt like thousands of photos, some alone, some with a variety of members of her family, some with one of her friends who happened to be nearby at the time. Katy loved every moment of the attention she was receiving, but was looking forward even more to the moment when she could sit down in the theatre and watch her movie being played in full on a big cinema screen for the very first time in history.

Katy was the last VIP to enter the theatre, and security shut the doors behind her. Before taking her seat, Katy stood up the front and was handed a microphone by a tech guy.

"Hi everyone!" she began, with a huge, genuine smile on her face. "I'm so glad you could all be here today to experience the very first viewing of my movie, Part of Me, in 3D! Before it starts, I just wanted to say a few words. Firstly, there's a few people involved in the production of this massive project that I need to thank."

She went on to mention the main people who worked on the movie, being as quick as possible.

"Next, I just want to say thankyou to a few other people who I love very much. They are all in this room, in the first row actually, and I owe so much to them all. Mom, dad, Angela, David, Shannon, Markus, Tamra and Bradford, I love you all so so very much, you were my lifeline when I was at my lowest point, you've always been there when I needed you the most. I'm proud to have you here today with me to say goodbye to one chapter and celebrate the beginning of a new one. Thanks to you all, I'm now able to put the past behind me, however painful it has been, and make a fresh start for myself, a better and stronger person than I used to be. On that note, let's start the movie - this is Katy Perry: Part of Me!"

Katy finished speaking and looked at her family and closest friends in the first row of the theatre, who all looked emotional but happy and proud, and in that moment, Katy was finally able to accept the words she had just spoken and was looking forward to the next chapter of her life, whatever it may bring.
