Tbh Idk if there is a right or wrong in this story. It's interesting how you can root for two people who may be the bad guys. This story wasn't super based off their canon personalities, but I personally think this would happen if Katara and Aang were to end up with anyone else but each other.I'm a huge Kataang shipper, and I always had this thought that no matter who they ended up with, they'd eventually find their way back to each other.
