Chapter 29

Tord's POV

My eyes fluttered open as I woke up. I sighed. They should probably get it when I faded. They should know that happens when we wake up. Unless they think it's something that happened in the place

I turned over, today was the day I would get the robot arm put on. It took a bit to fix, in the end, a few things were burnt inside. But they fixed it quickly. I have an appointment in an hour or more. I sighed and got up, with struggle

It has been a bit difficult being in the base with an arm missing. But the soldiers seemed glad to have me back. They still respected me, maybe more now. But they still followed my orders and helped me when I asked. I grabbed my uniform and pulled it on and buttoned it up, again, with struggle

I put on my boots not needing to tie them since they were still tied from the last time I wore them. I let out a huff and left my office. I needed to go to the infirmary, so I did just that. This was such a pain. I let out a huff and walked into the infirmary once I got there

This is going to be a pain in the ass

Tom's POV

I stared at where Tord was, he just faded. Does that mean he's awake? Or is this place just making us think he is? I huffed looking at the guys. They also looked puzzled. I looked back forward when a scene appeared

"Why did things turn out this way?" Tord asked as he stared up at me, he was on his knees, I had a gun pointed at his head. He wore some sort of uniform on and I did too, but I also wore some sort of headset looking device "I thought we had something"

"You actually believed that?" Tom laughed "Tord, it was all a lie. I only pretended to like you so I can get access to the files in your base" I said "Which was easier than I thought" Tord's eyes saddened "Any last words, Red Leader?" I spat the name with venom

Tord closed his eyes "I love you Thomas. I don't care if you don't" Tord said "I'd rather die by your hands" Tord said quietly

"Goodbye Tord" I said before pulling the trigger. A bang ran through our ears as Tord's body fell forward lifelessly

The scene changed to another memory. It showed Tord, who was flying away in the giant robot. We could see him sitting in it. Tord looked back when my voice rang out

"I. Am. Not. Your. FRIEND" I yelled before shooting the harpoon

"Uh oh" Was heard from Tord before it shot straight through the head. And through Tord's chest

An explosion happened and the robot crashed. Getting destroyed. It showed Tord. Who laid on the grass. A harpoon going through him. His eyes shot open and he started coughing, blood dripping out of his mouth

He could barely move over to let the blood pour onto the grass. And when he did move, the harpoon was pushed forward or backward. It hurt to much to move. He knew he'd either die soon from the harpoon or suffocate from the blood

The scene disappeared and another appeared (This was an idea from a video I saw)

Tord was pushed into some containment tube and locked inside. He looked scared and he was sweating "Edward what are you doing?" He asked the man who had pushed him in, Edd

Edd went over to a button, and Tord put his hands on the glass "Getting rid of you"

"Edd please" Tord begged, Edd put his hand over the button and Tord's eyes widened "Edd! Don't press that!" Tord said, in fear. Edd looked at Tord and grinned before pushing it "Edd!" Tord screamed as he felt extreme pain

He backed up against the back of the tube, his breathing was rapid. He let out another scream as the scarred half of his face contorted into some black thing. His regular red-eye turned completely red

His hand formed into a shadow-like thing. He fell to his knees panting. And just when he thought it was over it continued. A long tail grew from behind him. He was bleeding from everything growing out of him. He looked up at Edd, tears streaming down his face

He put his hand on the glass "I thought I could trust you.." He said, his hand was bloody. More pain came and Tord screamed grabbing his head "I thought I could trust you Edd!!" He screamed. It stopped and he panted falling to the ground weakly

The lab doors were thrown open and Edd quickly looked back. He took one last look at Tord before running to hide. Soldiers ran into the room. They saw Tord in the tube

"We have another one! Get the darts!" One of them ordered

A few soldiers ran off and then came back with some guns, tranquilizer guns. One soldier opened the tube and the soldiers shot Tord with a tranquilizer. Knocking him out in no time

It went black before appearing again. But they were somewhere different. Tord was laying on the floor of a room that seemed to be very dark but where Tord laid

Tord grunted and his eyes opened. He slowly pushed himself to sit up, wincing in pain. He looked around him on the floor, there was blood around him. They literally just threw him in there and locked the door or whatever they used to put him in there

Tord looked up and looked around slowly. His eyes widened as he saw where he was. He must've known where he was. He looked around in panic and moved back a bit. He kept looking at the darkness, as if trying to find something. His searching stopped when an eye opened

It was a soft purple color, a familiar color to the guys, but it was also a big eye. It stared right at Tord. Tord stared back, with fear in his red eye. It was weird to see his eye like that. Just fully red. His other eye was completely white where the black shadow-like thing over the scarred side of his face was

Tord gulped as it rose. The creature had stood up. You could hear It's claws against the ground as it walked towards Tord. Slowly. Tord pushed himself back to only hit the back wall. His tail wrapped around him as he covered his head with his arms, he flinched when he felt his own tail

Tord stayed like that as the thing went closer to him. It was growling a bit, until it stopped. And it suddenly stopped moving as well. Staring at Tord. It looked at Tord, as if taking in his appearance. Tord slowly moved his arms looking up at the creature
