Mandisa: someone is in a good mood
She says with an inquisitive look while smiling
Kim: girl come out with it already
Me: okay fine so guess what
"girllll!!!" they say unison annoyed
Me: geez okay so I shot my shot
I say pressing my hands together
Kim: omggg you lying
She says surprised at what I just said, she's waiting for me to say I'm joking
Mandisa: okay I'm lost you guys, who did you shoot your shot at
Kim: girl come on who else if not Eva
She says rolling her eyes
Mandisa: omggg the mean, famous and super rich girl?!!
Me: uhmm she's not exactly like that you know
Mandisa pulled me and Kim away from the others and we walked by ourselves home, it's not like they would notice we gone anyways
Mandisa: sooo how did it go, did you score or miss?
Me: well... yall know she's got a girlfriend right
Kim: so? You can always shapa stina moss
Me: gosh I've always known you a hoe Kim
We all laugh
Kim: oksalayo she could be your soul mate and you're busy stressing about her skinny girlfriend. That bitch got nothing on you friend
Me: I can't deal with you Kim
I say surrendering with my hands
We continued our journey home just blabbering about our day.
So I met these 2 little devils I call my best friends in high school we actually clicked on first day of high school it's almost the end of our first year in high school now and we still tight but we became a squad when other girls joined us and we sort of a big squad but I don't really feel it but that's a story for another day.
Following day was school as usual I found the squad at our usual chilling spot by the hockey stairs, the day went on and it was break time I quickly rushed out of the class to the tuckshop to find Kim and mandisa.
Me: guyysssss!!!
I said dragging them towards me
Kim: omggg what what Happened
Me: soo it turns out that me and Eva sit across each other in art class
Mandisa: and you weren't aware of this all this time?
Me: girl no! I never noticed her like that until now
Kim: so what did she say? Did you guys talk
Me: well she greeted me... and gave me a hug
"ouuuuuuu" they both squealed in unison
Me: geez yall are acting like we fucked or something
I said rolling my eyes
Kim: girl don't even try to hide it you're smitten
We went to join the others and we conversed
After school I arrived first at the gate the other two were stuck in the bathroom que. I spotted Eva outside the school yard fiddling with her phone. I took a deep breath in and walked to her
Me: waiting for me?
She looked up at me and chuckled
Her: no I'm waiting for my transport
Me: ohh me too
Her: don't you walk with your friends or something
Me: ohh so you be checking me out?
Her: well if you wanna put it that way
Me: cool so can I borrow your phone
She nods and hands it over to me. I dial my number and save it. I give her back her phone "text me" I say and walk away to my friends seeing everyone is ready to leave.
