He was just standing there, I was still trying to wrap my head around what just happened.
"Um... thank you for that... Harry, it is Harry, right? and you didn't have to do that, I had it handled but thank you" I spoke up to break the awkward silence.
"No problem, we don't put up with the kind of thing in here, he won't be welcome back, and yes, its Harry, I'm offended, I didn't forget your name, Eva" he glanced at me when he said my name making me stomach tense.
Then he turned and was waving down the bartender, but he didn't even walk over to us, he just nodded and went of making more drinks.
Okay who was this guy, the security's listened to him, the bartenders know his order, he walked around like he owned the place, that guy nearly shit a brick when he told him who he was, I was way too interested to let this go now.
He just stood there waiting for his drink, he was leaning on his elbows on the bar, I let my eyes trail down his body.
He was wearing a white dress shirt tonight, I could just see through it just enough to notice he was covered in tattoos on his arm and I think there was some on his chest, I couldn't see properly.
I noticed his rings more now, he had two one on his pinkie and ring finger with his initials and a few other gold and silver ones scattered across his fingers, they were really hot, he was really hot.
"Do you own this place or something?" I blurted out and he turned his head to me after hearing my question, it was kind of intrusive but I didn't care.
He turned back and grabbed his drink from the bartender, looking at me over the top of the glass and downing the whole thing in one go.
"No, I don't own this place" he said back, while a slight smile tugged up the corner of his mouth, it kind of bugged me how simple of an answer it was.
"Okay, just seemed like it with all bossing around and shit I've seen you do" I shrugged.
He chuckled before moving his hand so it was hovering above my back "order a drink and come sit over here with me?" he glanced down at his hand above my back like he was waiting for me to say it was okay to touch me.
I just nodded and told the bartender my drink order again, he placed his hand in the middle of my back and started walking us towards the couches.
I wasn't sure if people were getting out of our way or if we were just getting lucky because no one really looked him in the eyes or anything, they just kind of scooted to the side.
When we got to the couch in the corner of both walls, it was sort of in an L shape, he took his hand off my back and slid in the other side and waited for me to sit down, we were sitting next to each other but on different corners of the L shape, I wasn't sure why he asked me to come over here because he wasn't saying anything.
"I work with the people that own this place" he spoke up finally.
"What?" I asked.
"You asked if I owned the place, I don't, I just work with the people that do" he explained.
He worked with them, was he like a bartender or maybe security and he just wasn't working tonight.
"Are you security or something?" I glanced down at his arms, he didn't look like someone who could be a security guard but he was strong, I knew from the other when he picked me up.
"No love, not security, I don't work in the club" he didn't explain anymore.
"So, what do you..." I was interrupted by the bartender bringing our drinks over and placing them down on the table and walking off without saying a word "what do you do for work then".
