"Hey, are you still sleeping?" A hand nudged his head and Hyunjin groaned, moving away from it so he could bury his head further into his pillow, grumbling out a nonsense answer that he hoped would translate to "piss off". But then the person interrupting his beauty sleep had none of it and instead of being left alone, he was soon tackled when someone jumped into bed with him, letting out a garbled scream when they started to slip down to the floor.

Hyunjin shouted when he too, was dragged down alongside with them, grunting when his ass took most of the fall. Unfortunately it got him to wake up fully, forcing the blanket away from himself and turning to his giggling twin with a glare.

"YAH! What the hell?!" Hyunjin scowled at her, pushing her off him as he sat up, pointedly ignoring her snicker.

"What was that? Are you guys fighting again?" Their brother's voice was a bit muffled, coming from downstairs as the stairs creaked. Jinyoung hyung must still be waiting for Wonpil then, considering he hadn't left the house yet.

"Nothing! Jinnie is just being a wonderful morning person!" Without looking, he threw his pillow at Yeji, whilst rubbing his eyes and yawning loudly. His twin was grinning, as if she didn't have anything more important to do, such as go and pick up the history textbook that she always forgot about.

"Hyunjin-ah did you oversleep again? You're in middle school, you can't keep this up!" Jinyoung's voice came closer and then the door to Hyunjin's room opened and his brother peeked in with a worried expression on his face.

Offering him a sleepy smile, Hyunjin opened his closet to get the school uniform out. "It's okay hyung, it's only today. Besides, the teacher is always late the first fifteen minutes on Mondays."

Yeji settled on his bed, grinning at their brother. "Shouldn't you already be on your way yourself? Where is Wonpil hyung?"

Jinyoung's sigh was audible and then the doorbell rang, which was unusual, considering Wonpil would always knock on Jinyoung's window and climb through there instead.

"I guess that's him?" Even his brother sounded unsure now, leaving Hyunjin's door ajar as he returned downstairs.

"Do you really need to be in here when I'm getting changed?" Hyunjin turned to Yeji, frowning.

"Nah, though if you don't hurry, I'll go to school without you." Rolling his eyes, he turned back to the mirror, muttering about how she would leave him anyways, too occupied with her stupid crush and running ahead of him to catch up to her.

"Yeji! There's a Shin Ryujin here for you!" Hyunjin was halfway through tying his tie when Yeji shot out of his bed, startling both  him and Kkkami, who had snuck into his room and settled beside her as they waited for Hyunjin to finish getting dressed and brushing his teeth.

"I'll be down in a minute!" Yeji looked panicked, cheeks starting to redden as Kkami yipped, running between her legs and jumping as he barked at her.

"Hyunjin-ah! How do I look? Is my hair a mess? Shit, why did she have to come now?!" Laughing, he assured her that she looked fine and pushed her towards the stairs, shouting a greeting to Ryujin, whom he could hear talking to Jinyoung.

They came down to meet Jinyoung's amused gaze and Ryujin chuckling, Kkami hurriedly rushing up to her to greet her. He nudged Yeji to move forwards and his twin shot him a glare, discreetly slapping his elbow away before putting on a cheery smile. Hyunjin almost snorted when he heard the high pitched good morning Yeji let out, walking into the kitchen to find something to eat.

Their parents were already at work at this time and before leaving, eomma always left some food out for them. If he had gotten up earlier, he would have had more time to eat properly, but for now he managed to grab some steamed buns before rushing towards the entrance, where his siblings and Ryujin were still talking.
