The sun had long set and the darkness now surrounded the forest like a shroud by the time Pian made it back to the cave. The mist had returned with the coldness of the night. She took one last look around before climbing down the hole.

Drago was there waiting by the fire, they kissed and embraced. Pian recounted her discovery of the Razok, Reboaz, and the battle with the Razok spy and subsequently sending it to the abyss. She stopped and noticed tears in Drago's eyes.

'What's the matter' asked Pian with concern

'I have a sister' Drago said with a whisper.

He explained the lift shafts, the office and the plans. The cabinets with the holo-files detailing people's lives. Reading his own file, Gabriel saving his sister and that it had confirmed what Pian had told him.

'I also saw Gabriel and Xavier together planning something'

Pian nestled herself again Drago's chest and bit her lips slightly.

'Drago, there is something you need to know'

She paused. She took Drago's silence as a signal to proceed.

'Our point of contact here on Earth. The person who gave me details of this cave... It was Gabriel.'

Drago pushed her away

'What! Why didn't you tell me?'

His anger made his face flush and appeared even redder against the fire light.

Pian pleaded

'Please Drago, you must understand, I wanted to tell you, but I wasn't sure how you would react. I was trying to protect you'

Drago turned away from her

'I thought you felt something for me, you have lied to me like everyone else.'

He poked the fire roughly with a stick and threw it against the wall in anger

'Drago, I'm sorry, please forgive me. I don't want this to come between us. You said yourself that you are not sure about Gabriel now, after reading that file.'

Drago was startled that his anger began to subside so quickly, he was known to brood for days if someone had wronged him. It surprised him even further as he realised that it was because of the new feelings he had toward Pian.

'I'm....I'm sorry I lost my temper' said Drago

Pian drew close to him again

'I'm sorry that I didn't tell you about Gabriel'

Drago held her tight.

'There are many things I have been told while on Xaria, I now see not all of them are true, maybe what I have been told about Gabriel is one of those things'

'So you know' said a voice.

Drago and Pian spun round. Xavier stepped out of the shadows.

'What's wrong with you, do you have to sneak up on everyone?' said Drago.

Xavier shrugged his shoulders

'No, but its fun and its good practice'

Xavier pulled a food parcel out of his pack and threw it to Drago.

'We need to get ready to move soon, Gabriel will be here soon with a friend.' Xavier's tone suggested it wasn't a matter for debate.

They set about clearing the area, but left a number of torches burning so that they could see.
