He better be gay

Yesterday my friends decided they were coming to visit. I was really excited. Lucius has ignored me all day. Our study together went by very uneventfully, he ignored me and played on his phone. Good.

I received a text from Theo that they landed an hour ago. I think Lucius knew my friends were coming, so he positioned himself in one of the living rooms closest to the door. What is his angle?

I'll never understand him. He looks good, but why does he feel the need to wear fancy clothing every day? I just threw on some jeans and a Jean Paul Gaultier mesh.

Just as I was about to watch some tv, I hear the doors open. I run downstairs to see Raina and Theo in sweats trickle through the door.

"Hey! I'm so glad you both could make it!" I squeal and hug them both. Some of the waitstaff grab their bags.

"Give them the rooms near mine!" I holler.

"We are so glad to be here! So, where's this infamous jackass?" Raina smirks. Ugh. I want to talk about anything but him.

"Well I for one, could not care less if I never see him." Theo shrugs. He seems apathetic about it all.

"Never meet who?" Someone behind me sneered. No. He cannot be here right now.

"Lucius I swear to god." I flip around and yell and him. He has some nerve.

"Oh you must be Lucius, I'm Raina, Amora's friend." She goes out to shake his hand but he just looks away. Kinda rude.

"I'm uh Theo." Theo stammers. Lucius is glaring at him. Is he.. jealous?

"Amora, come with me." Lucius demands. What is his problem?

"No. I won- before could finish my sentence he drags me into the dining room.

"He best be gay, little girl." He angrily states. He is defiantly jealous. Over a fake relationship.

"Fuck you. He's a friend. Not like you've ever had any." I retort. He balls his fists.

"Don't fuck around with me Amora. I see the way he looks at you. I'm not a fucking idiot." He yells. He has anger issues. I hate him so much.

"You and I are fake. Now get out of my way." With that, I push past him and guide my friends up the stairs.

"Well, he's jealous." Raina laughs. She doesn't really see how insane he really is. I know she's gonna flirt with him. But, I know him. He's not gonna bat an eye at her.

"Does he know we're just friends?" Theo mutters.

"Yes. I told him off. He'll probably be back for more but I don't give a fuck at this point. Here, I'll show you to your rooms and then we can watch some Netflix." I show them both where they will be staying. Raina is next to me, and Theo is next to Lucius. How that will go, I don't know.

"Wow, I can't believe we just watched an entire season of criminal minds." Raina laughs. We all get up and wipe the popcorn off my bed.

"Oh shit, it's almost time for dinner. Let's get cleaned up and head down. Lucius won't do anything if my parents are present." I say. They both exit my room to go get ready. Once they're gone, I strip down and change into a tight skirt and keep the same top. I do some light blush and mascara.

We meet in the hallway and head down. Raina looks excited, Theo looks terrified. Can't blame him, I'm sure Lucius will shoot daggers at him all night.

"Welcome Theo and Raina. Hopefully you both find your rooms comfortable?" My mom cheers.

"Yes. They are absolutely beautiful." Raina says. Just then, our favorite grump comes down. He decides to sit right next to me. Theo is sitting across from me while Raina sits next to him.

"So Theo, how long have you and Raina been going out?" Lucius says in a way too peppy tone. Oh dear God. I shoot him a look that could kill.

"Erm, we aren't dating." Theo stammers. He rubs his neck. The cook brings out the food. Orange ruffy. Lucius just begins to eat. What a psycho. He knew exactly what he meant with that question.

My fish is delicious. What isn't delicious? The hand that keeps appearing on my leg. His hands are extremely nice, but they're unwanted.

"Stop." I whisper to him. He ignores me. I slap his hand away.

"So Lucius, how is Monaco?" Raina purrs and bats her eyelashes. What is she doing?

"Warm." He states. The hand appears again. Smack!

"If you and Amora get hitched, I'll have to come visit. It seems like a lovely country." What in the fuck is she doing? Does she want to get killed? Luckily my parents are on the other end of the long table so they can't hear. And if? She knows this is law, right?

"Me and kitten will gladly have you both over." He states. Not the kitten again. Raina looks down at her food again. I think he scared her off.

"Theo could you pass me the asparagus?" I ask. He passes it over. I take some and set it down. Nobody says a word. The tension is high. I think Raina has made things really awkward.

"So, uh, how's the economy doing? I heard it hit its high last month?" Theo is trying to talk business with me. I'm not in the mood but I'll engage in it to get rid of the silence.

"Yes. The prosperity of Andorra is increasing by the day. My father and his advisors has been using tourism to fuel other industries, and we've made a killing." I state. I do love my country. Making peoples lives better is my passion.

"Too bad your going to Monaco. Don't you wish you could stay here?" Raina asks and smirks. I know what she's implying. God, why is she doing this? Doesn't she know he's engaged? I'm not jealous, I don't give a flying fuck about what Lucius does, but she is going after someone who is toxic and uninterested.

"Kitten and I are visiting Monaco at the end of the month. I'm sure she will love it." Lucius hissed. What? I'm going to Monaco so soon?

"So, how about some cake?" My mom walks over and says. The cooks bring out a slice of chocolate chiffon cake for everyone. Luckily she just missed our conversation.

The cake is delicious. Our cooks are amazing at what they do. Lucius hasn't touched his though. I just ignore him. Of course a weirdo like him doesn't like cake.

"Lucius, do you not like cake? I used to love it but now I'm trying to watch my weight so I-" Theo makes a face telling her to stop. She's only embarrassing herself.

Lucius just went to the other end of the table, thanked my parents, and went down into the gym. We have a basement with a gym and a movie theatre room. I'm assuming he's going to the gym.

"Where did he go?" Raina pouts. I roll my eyes.

"You need to stop. Your making everyone uncomfortable." Theo scolds. Raina just rolls her eyes.

"Just you wait. He'll want me, I know he will. My biggest bragging right will be getting Lucius Balcray. That's if, you don't mind Amora?" She asks. What am I supposed to say? I can't act jealous, otherwise she'll think I care about him.

"I'm fine with you trying. I'm just saying that it's embarrassing and he's going to reject you. He's ice cold. And I've read from the magazines he hates cheaters. I don't think he would make himself one." Hopefully that gives her the hint.

"You can't cheat on something that's fake." With that, she left and went downstairs. Shit, he's gonna be really mad at her for interrupting him.

"She's gonna get herself killed." I mutter.

"Yeah. But let her. She'll learn." Theo rubs his head. We both go upstairs. Whatever happens to her is out of our hands.
