I wake up with a pounding headache. Ugh, how am I hungover from three beers? Lucius had like six and he was perfectly fine.

My cheeks flush as I remember last night. That was so embarrassing. I was so drunk and told him things I shouldn't have.

Oh well. I'm glad he didn't take advantage of me. He also forced me to take a shower, and I respect the way he helped me up the stairs.

He's still asleep. We are closer than I'd like, but not touching. I guess Lucius does have some self control. How strange.

I try to wiggle out of the bed, but I feel an arm on my waist. Shit, he's awake.

"Lucius, stop it." I hiss. He doesn't respond. Is he still asleep? I look over at him. His eyes are shut and his mouth is open. He's still asleep.

His arm is wrapped around me. I guess I'll have to wake him up to get up. I move his arm away from me and I feel his chest move.

"Ugh.." he groans. Is he going to be mad at me for waking him up? What kind of a stupid question is that? Of course he is!

"Sorry. Your arm was around me and I need to pee.." I say. He wipes his eyes and grabs some glasses from his nightstand.

I giggle to myself. He looks so cute with his boxy frames.

"You wear glasses?" I say, unable to hide my smile. He looks annoyed.

"Yes, I do. Now stop laughing at me." He pouts. I giggle. I'm surprised he isn't angry at me for laughing at him.

"Okay Mr. Librarian." I joke as I wiggle out of bed. He furrows his brows at me.

"Watch it kitten." He toys. I like when he's playful. It's not often I see that side of him, but I like it. If he was like this all the time, maybe I wouldn't hate him so much.

I go into his bathroom and shut the door. It's so nice. His giant soaker tub along with his shower with 3 different heads. It was like a spa.

I wash my hands and my face. I take my hair out of my bun and brush through it. My hair is shinier. Huh, mr. macho man uses nice shampoo and conditioner.

I go into his attached closet and take out one of the dresses I brought. It's a simple summery blue dress. I hated that I had to be formal all the time.

I put it on, not bothering to put on a bra. It would only show the straps. I put on some white heels and use a little bit of mascara and blush. My skin is pretty good right now.

Lucius is still in his pajamas. Good grief. I shake my head at him and walk downstairs. I see his mother sitting at the table. I'm glad his father isn't around, he intimidates me.

"Hello dear, where is my son?" She hums. I grab my breakfast off the counter and sit down across from her.

"He's getting ready and should be down soon." I say. He's nowhere near ready, but it does not take men that long to get ready.

"How do you like your food?" The queen chimes. The eggs are delicious, and the avocado toast is perfect.

"Really delicious!" I say. She smiles at me. I like his mom.

"You guys have fun golfing?" She asks. I did have fun, except that Ruby girl was a little annoying. I can't believe I actually got jealous. Whatever.

"Yes, we did. You and the king have a wonderful course!" I compliment. I can't believe they actually have a golf course on property.

Just then, I hear Lucius walking down the stairs. He's wearing a suit, typical.

He reminds me of Leo. Shit, Leo. He was coming home the day I left. I'll see him when I get back though.

"Good morning ladies." He says as he grabs his food and kisses me on the forehead. I cringe internally.

"Morning lucie boy." His mother says. I giggle. He drops the toast he was munching on.

"Ma, stop calling me that." He whines. I just laugh some more. He looks my way, very irritated.

"Oh you love it. Now eat your food!" He rolls his eyes and keeps eating. He defiantly has a soft spot for his mom. I see a figure walking down the hallway. Shit, his dad.

"Morning women. Son." He blankly says as he grabs a plate and sits down next to his wife.

"Morning honey." His mother says. She sounds less cheerful. Lucius looks at me then back at his dad.

I smile at the king as he stares at me.

"Isn't it kind of rude not to greet someone?" His father asks me. Shit, I completely zoned out. I was too busy eating my food.

"Oh- I'm sorry. I had some food in my mouth. Good morning." I say. Lucius's hand tightens on his fork.

"Mhm." Is all his father says. Fuck, he must be mad at me. Lucius glares at him. Oh no.

"Really father?" Lucius retorts. This isn't going to be pretty.

"Don't start with me Lucius. I never approved this marriage." The king sneers. I realize I never actually learned his name.

"You were the one who said I needed to get married to take over the throne! You know how good a relationship with Andorra would be!" Lucius yells. Ouch. Nothing about me. I guess I'm just someway for him to help his own country.

"I meant a girl that has no brains! A woman that knows where she belongs and her place in life! One that can please you! Don't think I haven't seen the press releases on her. She's a smart girl, she'll know your a monster in the end!" The king yells. I can feel tears pooling in my eyes. He's a sexist piece of shit.

"Fuck you dad! Your a sexist prick! Did you ever think about that I wanted someone to help me run this goddamn country? Not some air headed bimbo!" Lucius screams. I can feel butterflies in my chest. He really thinks that much of me?

His mother guides me out of the room and I follow her. I can still hear them yelling in this sitting room, but it isn't as bad.

"Lucius really cares about you, you know?" The queen says as she sits down next to me on the green sofa.

"Really?"  I'm taken aback. He cares about me? No, he just sees me as a conquest. Another thing to fuck.

"Yes. He's never defended someone like that before. He's learned a lot from his father, and I think your teaching him that being an asshole get you nowhere." She laughs and then sighs. I feel my cheeks flush. He cares about me.

No he doesn't. If he did, he wouldn't have spanked me and made me cry.

"Thank you. For everything." I say. Queen Balcray smiles and pulls me into a hug. The shouting has died down and I hear someone walking into the room.

"Amora, we need to talk."
