It's been almost a week since Raina and Theo left. I really miss them. Luckily Lucius hasn't barely spoke to me all week. He seems to just go into his office to yell into his phone and drink.
That has given me a lot of time to work on my studies. I am determined to graduate and Lucius and my friends certainly didn't help me stay focused.
I've been spending a lot of time with my mother when I'm not going over lessons. She's been letting me paint with her. It's been nice being so close during this hectic time.
"Baby, will you pass me that brush?" My mom asks. She's in her painting clothes and is currently painting a picture of a bird.
I pass her the brush. Mine looks terrible. I tried painting a owl but It looks demented.
"I think I'm gonna finish up some schoolwork. I have a big test coming up." I say. I hang my smock up and clean my brushes.
"Ok honey. I'm glad to see your back to working on your schoolwork." She says. I pat her on the back and begin walking to the library.
I hear Lucius and my father talking in Lucius's office. Hm, I might as well listen in.
No. Lucius will know.
Oh well, if he finds out he can't do anything as my father is with him.
"Your taking her to Monaco next week?" My father asks. He didn't know?
"Yes. I want her to meet my parents and see her home." Lucius answers. Monaco will never be my real home. My heart belong to Andorra.
"Espero que en sàpiga." (I hope she knows about this) my father mutters. Yes I do know. Also, why is he speaking Catalan? Lucius can't even understand him.
"Ella fa." (She does) Lucius replies. He speaks Catalan? Huh. I speak 3 languages fluently. Catalan, my native language, English, and French. I suppose I do know French which is Monaco's native language, but Catalan is hardly used anymore.
"Take care of her boy. I know our embargo prices went down, but that still doesn't mean you aren't on my radar." Aha. Lucius promised lower exporting costs. But what is he exporting from Monaco?
"Yes, sir." Lucius firmly says. I should leave. I go down the stairs and into the library. I'm glad nobody caught me.

I've been studying for an hour and I think I deserve a break. I get up and go to the kitchen to make some coffee.I'm about to go into the library, when I see two familiar faces walking in. Fuck, I forgot about me and Lucius's meetings. We have been doing them, but we haven't said a word to each other. We only listen to Miss. Hollows talk about the wedding.
I walk in. I can't just blow it off. I see Lucius, who looks angry. Why, I don't know or care. Old hag is looking chipper as ever.
"Let's get down to business. You guys haven't been communicating in these sessions. You need to talk to each other!" Can this bitch shut up.
"Wonder why." I roll my eyes. Who would want to talk to this brick wall?
"Amora, you need to open up to him! You are going to be his wife! Treat him with respect!" I'm done with this sexist piece of shit.
