Watching the Notebook with Lucius, Theo, and Raina may not have been the best idea. I was just going to watch it with Raina but then Theo came in begging to hang out. Lucius came as soon as he realized Theo was near me. So, now I'm sitting with Raina sleeping on my shoulder and Lucius's arm wrapped around me.

"Raina your the one who wanted to watch this, wake up." I poke her in the face. She groans and sticks her tongue out at me. She goes back to watching the movie.

"This movie is stupid. Why does she choose the broke guy who yells at her over the rich pleasant guy." Lucius questions.

"Because it's true love. She doesn't care about the money she cares about him." I explain. Theo looks at me then Lucius.

"He seems perfectly fine to me." He states. Why is he so set of defending this dude? Maybe he relates to him.

"It's not what's wrong with him its about what she misses about the other guy."

"If you guys are just gonna talk the whole time then let's turn it off." Theo grumbles. He's been in a bad mood all day. He just got here yesterday!

"Alright alright relax." I exasperate. We all go back to watching the movie for a while. Lucius opens his phone and I look down at it. I see someone named Rachel in his contacts.

Rachel from Monaco? It says the last call was a week ago. A twinge of jealously sparks inside me. I'm sure whatever they talk about wasn't romantic, right? No, stop thinking like that. Don't doubt him.

"Why do-do they have to dieee." Raina sobs. I laugh at her misery. I'm crying as well but it's just kind of funny we are getting all worked up over a movie.

"Why are you crying so much?" Theo snaps. We look up at him and roll our eyes. He dosent understand. Neither does Lucius. He is just looking at me, smirking.

"Becauseee, the movie is saddd and my bestie is getting married tomorrow!" She exclaims.

"That reminds me, Lucius and I have a lot of things to do so we should probably get to meeting with the planners and going over the itinerary." I remind. We have a hell of a lot of stuff to do before the wedding and I've been procrastinating.

"I'm sure you do have a lot of things to do." Raina smirks. I scoff and nudge Lucius to get up. We walk out while Theo looks down at his phone.

I lead him down the stairs and to the courtyard. My mom wants to tell us what we should do to get to the venue and how we should act.

Our courtyard is one of my favorite parts of the castle. With giant hedges and amazing Italian statues, it's one of my favorite places to come read. It's cool in the air but not cold. Perfect weather.

I see my mom going over something with a planner. She dismisses her and smiles as she sees us approaching.

My mom is basically older me. She has big brown eyes and thin tawny hair that ends at her jaw. She has smile lines and looks amazing for her age. Her light plum blouse fits perfect even though it is 20 years old.

It's vintage Versace, why get rid of it?

"Thanks for meeting me you two. I needed to go over with you the way you should present yourselves and how you are getting to the chapel. It's a huge gathering, around three thousand people are set to be attending the ceremony. The reception is around one thousand." She sighs and continues,
"That being said, you both will arrive an hour early and not see each other until the wedding." She raised an eyebrow at the last comment and I nod. Lucius smiles at her.

"Got it mom. We aren't kids we know." I groan. She rolls her eyes and flips a page in her notebook.

"Yeah yeah. Now I don't want anything to go wrong, you hear me? If either of you do something bad that could make it onto the press you'll never hear the end of it!" She warns.

"I think I'll kill Lucius. All publicity is good publicity, right?" I joke. Lucius looks at me and scoffs.

"Amora you are sick!" My mom scolds. I smirk and Lucius nods in agreement. Stupid bastard. It was a joke. I swear sometimes I feel like I'm talking to people without a funny bone.

I hear someone walking on the cement behind me and I turn around to see my dad walking up to our table, smiling. His smile lines and blonde hair make him look old and young at the same time.

"How are we doing?" He asks, giving my mom a kiss on the cheek before sitting down. My dad is a very sweet man and I know it would break him to know Mom's story.

"As well as I expected." Mom replies.

"Just fine, King Alden." Lucius responds. Leave it up to mister perfect to kiss my dad's ass.

"Call me Troy. Besides, we're going to be family soon!" He shakes my shoulder and I give a weak smile.

Lucius and I just sit there awkwardly. We aren't sure what to say. That we are super excited? I mean I'm not excited. But I'm not terrified like I used to be. Lucius is fine if you look past his minor anger issues.

"Mhm." I shift uncomfortably.

"So, Lucius, how are you planning on getting to the alps? Private jet I'm assuming?" Dad asks. Shit. I completely forgot about our honeymoon.  Does he... expect things from me? I don't know if I'm ready for that. I mean I trust him... but I don't know if I want to do that with him yet.

I am excited to go skiing though. I feel really happy when I'm doing it. I go every year and I'm pretty good if I do say so myself.

"Yeah, private jet." I wouldn't expect anything less. I'm not trying to be a spoiled rich girl, but we are royalty so public transportation is kind of dangerous.

"No monkey business, got it?" My dad mentions. I want to die. I literally want to die. I can't do this anymore. Someone hand me a coffin.

My cheeks are burning red. This is the most uncomfortable I've ever been in my entire life. Lucius seems just fine however. When I look up at him, he is looking down at me,
Smirking. I want to claw those stupid blue eyes out.

"Stop." I shout. Talking about my sex life with my PARENTS is not something on my bucket list.

"Yes i second that! I don't want any grand babies this soon! Of course someday!" My mom chimes in.

Kill me. Just do it.
