Lilly POV
It was a sad day when I sent my kids off to spend thanksgiving with their father, but they would be back in a week. Plus, I was picking up my sister Kelly from the airport the same day, so we could hang out.
I was at Detroit Metropolitan Airport waiting for Kelly. Kelly was never married and did not have any children. She was quite proper and was a big-time lawyer back in our hometown of Philly. When Kelly came down the corridor I saw her straight away and ran up to give her a hug which Kelly reluctantly accepted.
We fetched her bags and made it outside to the parking lot to my new Audi. When Kelly saw the car, she just shook her head. I blared rap music on the ride which I knew Kelly detested. We eventually made it to Marshall's community and I punched the code into the keypad for the gates to open.
Kelly could not believe that I lived in a rapper's mansion. I gave Kelly a tour of the home and showed her to her room.
"How many bedrooms does this place have?"
"I don't know. A couple." I told her.
I invited Kelly to go out on the town for dinner, but she declined, then she asked if she could go in the hot tub. She's so antisocial, I don't know why I even invited her. I would love to have a close relationship with my sister, but she always disappoints me. When Kelly finally got out of the hot tub, she hung out in the theatre room for over three hours! Whatever, I'm going to bed.

Marshall POV
I was working late downstairs in the studio when Kelly exited the theatre to go up to her room and must have noticed the light from the studio cuz she knocked on the door.
"Hey" she started and I glanced up at her. "I just wanted to thank you for letting me stay at your place." She smiled.
"It's Lilly's place too." I reminded her.
"Yeah, it was so nice of you to take her and her kids in after she couldn't make it in LA."
I gave Kelly a dirty look, "I didn't take her in, she's my girlfriend. I love her and the kids. Lilly does fine on her own."
Kelly rolled her eyes and sarcastically said, "Oh, right, her shoe business."
"I think you need to go to bed."
"Good night Marshall."
I didn't answer her. I just shook my head at the nerve she had to put her sister down while she was a guest in our home.
Lilly POV
The next morning I woke up to a text from Hailie inviting me to come out to a club that night with her and some friends. I politely declined reasoning that the following day is thanksgiving, and I had a lot to do to get ready.
When I came downstairs, Kelly was sitting at the island and asked me to show her a good place to get her nails filled. I was happy, I needed a fill too and this would give us some sister bonding time. I drove us into the city of Detroit. On the drive, Kelly asked how I was doing with the repercussions of the attack and I was honest and admitted that I still experienced flashbacks occasionally.
We arrived at the nail salon and settled into the pedicure chairs to get our feet done as well. Then Kelly hit me with some disturbing information.
"I had a long talk with Marshall last night after you went to bed. I think you may want to rethink this decision of moving to Detroit with him."
My heart sank, "Why the fuck would you stay up late to hang out with my boyfriend?"
"We both care about you Lilly. Marshall told me he feels sorry for you and the kids and he wants to give them the stability of a full-time father since you've never been able to provide that for them. I mean, he has millions of women around him all the time it must be nearly impossible to trust him."
"What?" I was glaring at Kelly furiously.
"He told me that he feels like he needs to take care of you since you've been so unstable ever since you were attacked. I hate telling you this Lilly. I know I haven't been a good big sister in the past, so now I feel that it is my responsibility to look out for you. I know this hurts, but it's pity that Marshall feels for you. Not love."
"How the fuck do you know that?"
Kelly paused for a moment, "He came on to me. He told me to come to bed with him."
"Marshall would never do that."
The remaining time it was taking for us to get our nails done was terribly awkward. My mind was raging full speed ahead.
I don't believe Kelly for one minute, Marshall loves me. I did basically just show up on his doorstep though. Maybe he just didn't have the heart to tell me to leave and now he's stuck and confided in my sister to break it to me. What if she's telling the truth? What if we moved too fast and now, he just looks at me like I'm pathetic and doesn't want to add to my misery?
I drove Kelly back to the house pretending not to be bothered. The escalade wasn't there, so I dropped her off. I have some shoes in the trunk that I must stop by the post office and ship to Atlanta. After that, I need to just drive around and clear my head.
Kelly POV:
Poor little Lilly, always playing the victim. She used to do the same thing when she was married to Tony. Now, she's riding around in a new Audi that Marshall paid for. The only reason she could afford to move to California is because she got a good settlement from her divorce. Lilly receives alimony and child support; she's always used men to advance in life. Lilly doesn't make shit with her "business", that's just a hobby.

Kelly was in her bedroom when she heard a car door slam and the front door open and shut. She peered over the balcony to see Marshall remove his shirt and lay down on the couch.
"He needs a real woman." Kelly muttered.
Kelly came downstairs smiling and greeted Marshall. He just sat there and paid her no mind.
"I went out with Lilly this morning." She told him and he still refused to look at her. "I'm a little worried about her. She told me that she started having flashbacks again, but she's been hiding it from you."
"Really?" Marshall sat up.
"Yes. I'm so sorry Marshall, but she was also saying that she didn't know if it was a good decision to move here with you."
Marshall tensed up, not knowing if he should believe Kelly.
"See, that's the problem with Lilly. She's always running from her problems." Kelly sat down next to Marshall and put her arm around his bare skin. "I'm so sorry I have to be the one to tell you this."
Kelly rubbed Marshall's back and kissed his shoulder. Marshall was shocked, but before he could even push her off, Kelly pulled her shirt off over her head and straddled him.
Lilly ran enraged through the kitchen to the living room to approach her sister and her boyfriend half naked cuddled up on the couch. Kelly rose to her feet for the confrontation and Lilly punched her square in the jaw. Lilly knocked Kelly out cold with one blow. The scrawny little bitch laid on the floor unconscious in her bra.
Marshall was startled at what Lilly just witnessed between he and Kelly. "Baby, it's not..."
"I'm not talking to you right now!" Lilly ran upstairs to grab some clothes.
"Lilly, can I just explain?!" he yelled pounding on the bedroom door.
"Leave me the fuck alone! Don't come near me!" She screamed. Lilly pushed past Marshall and ran down the steps and out the door. She cried for a minute as she sped off and then picked up her phone to dial a number.
"Hey, wassup Lilly?" Hailie answered.
"Hailie, tonight, Annex Nightclub, I'm with ya!"
