I got back from my trip home a couple of weeks ago. I haven't really been in contact with Mase or Layla since I left for my trip. I assumed Layla was busy doing her own thing. Even though we go to school together its normal for us to only talk every now and then because of our busy schedules. As for Mason I don't even know what's going on with him and honestly I'm over it.
If I recall correctly he begged me to get back together and as soon as we did he went ghost. But I'm not gonna put any energy into chasing him. Like they say if a man wants to he will and I guess Mason doesn't so Ima mind my business and keep it pushin. Might as well respond to some of these niggas in my dm's since they've been patiently waiting for there turn in line.
I was scrolling through my phone doing my usual morning routine and checking my notifications when Layla texted me asking to meet at Lennox Square Mall. I went ahead and agreed since I hadn't seen her in a cool minute. I spent the rest of the morning chillin until it was time for me to get ready. I did my usual shower and makeup routine taking about an hour in total to finish. I ended up wearing a green and black plaid shirt dress with over-the-knee black suede boots.
Eventually I was heading out the house and driving to the mall. I ended up making it there at around 1:30pm. Since I had some time to spare I headed over to Sephora and looked around. I wasn't one to wear makeup every day but when I did I wanted to make sure I had the right products. Because of school I don't get the chance to go shopping much but since I had the time today I figured I'd go ahead and cop the new Fenty Beauty products. Now I know ya'll are gon say that Fenty Beauty isn't new and it's been out for years but bitch like I said it's new to me so hush.
Anyways when I got there I asked one of the ladies who worked there to help me match my foundation and concealer shades. I prefer to do that in store rather than online. These makeup products get to be mad expensive and if I know thing, I'm not about to spend no $100+ on makeup and it ends up being the wrong shade.
"Ok miss you're going to be shade... " [A/N: Idk what shade the girl who plays Sienna is so I'm using mine]
"Thank you miss ma'am I'm about to be poppin in my new Fenty Beauty!" I say getting hyped.
I hear low giggles behind me as the lady walks away, I turn around and see none other than my girl Layla.
"Hey girl I missed you!' she said.
"I missed you too" I said giving her a big hug.
She walked over with me to the register and I paid for my things. Once I was all checkout I hooked my arm in hers leading her out the store towards the food court.
"Come on you need to catch me up on your life".
"Okay! Slow down!" she laughed.
Once we made it there we each went to our respective restaurant choices picking out what we wanted. I ended up getting a burger and fries. Once my food was ready I went to look for Layla. I saw her sitting at a table just a few feet away from me. I walked over to the table and sat my food and shopping bags down.
